Bo and i Saved a young girl saturday night.
max was with a bunch of friends at the stanges park and his girlfriends sister paige, was stupid enough to accept ten coricieten pills(prescription cough and cold medicine) and washed it down with vodka. Max didn't do any of this, he actually insisted that once paige wasnt' feeling good to come back to the house. so paige went up stairs and layed down. but started freaking out. one kid came down and got water for her. then another kid came down and told bo and i that she was freaking out. bo and i looked at eachother and knew something was going on. bo ran upstairs and brought her down on the love seat and she was complaining that she was hot then cold, she couldn't feel her hands, her lips were purple... i asked her what she had taken and she just kept saying all of them.
i turned to the kid who gave her the damn pills and asked him what he gave her... and how many... he said all of the corcieten pills. i said exactly how many pills?
he said 10. i looked at him then at bo and said to all of the damn kids that were there, that if we didnt' get her up to the hospital now she was going to die.
at first all the kids were hesitant to help except for sam katke... what a good boy. even max was saying oh she will be ok. and her own sister was saying that. but lone behold. sam and bo brought her out to the car, and i sped up to the hospital. the doctor said to us that if we hadn't have brought her in when we did, she would have died there.
both of her parents are so greatful to bo myself and sam.
and max realizes that he should have stepped up to the plate and helped, but was too scared.
i dont' know if the police ever got the kid or not. but they did find evidence at the park. 25 empty packets of the coricieten stuff.
