"Gargoyle"
Once able to be free under the sun,
Now sitting as stone
Overlooking the world.
Heart's egg turned to black
With the white "X".
As the heart turned to stone,
So did the body.
Only able to be free under the moon.
Now flying under the stars,
Overlooking the world.
The wind blowing through her hair
May change,
But not Time.
Time moves one way.
Cannot go back.
The dream continues to crack.
Protected by stone
And being stone.
Soon,
Even the night
Will no longer give her wings.
I based this off my gargoyle avatar, if you can't tell. xD
And if you get the reference I made in the poem (kinda obvious if you know me) then epic win for you.... and kudos. xD
