- Aurora could not teach her child the normal, everyday skills e.g reading & writing becuase she was blind. She could only teach her martial arts.
- Aurora put her trust into Victor to provide this but he never, he only promised he would teach Ryoko ninjistu whilst Aurora left to teach in her dojo.
- Victor treated Ryoko harshly once they began training and never went easy on the girl. If she fell he would punish her for this (strict punishment, mostly whipping and beatings), her moves had to be flawless if she one day wanted to protect her county and become the greatest assasin.
- Victor would state to her coldy " Do not rely on the strength of others, for you see, will be alone in this world and there is nothing you can do to change it. Defing this rule of the ninja's would result in treason.
- And so Ryoko was mostly brought up of Victor's traing and ludicris rantings. (it was how Victor was brought up also) Hardly embracing love from her farther she grew up to be a hard stricken girl who's moral purpse was to assaonate with no further questions.
- A mindless puppet.
- Not being able to expierence to joys of emotion.
- Aurora had no idea he was corrupting their child and would often find this when she trained Ryoko.
- It was almost as if when they were sparring, Ryoko was nearlly out to kill Aurora. The caring mother understood just by the way Ryoko acted, nevermind her speech (She was a mute of cource)
-Her mothers relationship was hard becuase it was hard for them to interact, Ryoko would have to grunt or mumble what she wanted to say.
- Ryoko grew up wise and understood her mothers beautiful skill with the blade, the ninja was also highly skilled (6 years old) and was currenlty gonig threw the ninja trials)
- Ryoko passed the ninja trials with four others. The chosen ones were given four gloves numbered (VI VII VIII AND IX) the highest number being the lowest rank and vis versa.
- Bemused by this silant ninja's talents she grew friends amongst her Ninja posse. These four had personal training by Aurora and crossed far to be trained by the best warriors around the counrty.
- A year later when they returned their planet was attacked by an unknown force, Ryoko and her firends fought bravely to proect their homeworld but failed.
-Her mother was hunted down by a number of warriors and struck down.
When Ryoko rushed back to Blossom peek (that's where Aurora was going to meet Ryoko when she returned from her journey) Aurora was brutly decapitated.
- Crying into her breast,The young ninja was forced away from her deceased mother and Ryoko failed to utter the worls 'I love you mummy'
- Victor had took her to a nearby gummi which would take her to her next destination, however Ryoko wasnt meant to leave untill her 10th birthday.
- This oddly enough was to signify to Ryoko that Victor had cared for all along.
As she was alunched into space her home planet was said to banish from all existance, her farhter and friends along with it.
