Stream of Consciousness
Anger, flowing through your veins like a fiery river of lava. So simple to define yet so hard to control. It’s like a wrecking ball going through a wall, hard to keep the mess contained. It’s like a sugar rush only without the sugar, maybe not as sweet. It’s like a volcano ready to explode. Anger with its sweet bitter destruction. It’s like Doomsday all over again. Or maybe it’s just a warring state between your conscious and your body. However you put it, it all means the same thing in the end. All you are feeling is simply the bitter emptiness of the void, nothing is there, only rage. It is like a nightmare you cannot escape because it is the beast that’s inside you that keeps you in that mental state of madness. You cannot escape, nor release yourself from a barren wasteland where death would be a release from the hatred that consumes your soul and every fibre of your being. It’s like you’re a prisoner in your mind, only watching from the backseat as it slowly desecrates your life and everything you’ve ever known. It’s like a roller coaster and you’re on a one way trip to Hell. Sometimes you wonder if it’s a good idea to let the anger consume you and take over, other times make you wonder if getting angry was just a big waste of time. It’s a hard thing to control especially around other people, because you know that they weren’t the problem or a part of your issue yet you feel like you’re about to explode if you don’t take it out on something or someone. You can hurt the ones that you care about and then ask for forgiveness, which might be hard to get if the damage was…well…worse then what you were feeling. People could say “I forgive you” and not really mean it. To them it’s saying the words to make you feel better but yet not meaning the words so that they could laugh in your face when you go to a reunion or something. Now wouldn’t that just irk you to no end? Course it would! They would do it just to piss you off, because in reality they see it as payback. Revenge is sweet but so is pie.
