So, I haven't posted anything in here in '09 AT ALL!
Today's subject of discussion: Prom.
Chronologically, the first prom I can discuss is going on right now! LoSI (The League of Special Individuals) is holding the Delmorian prom, which will be attended by Lindsay Morris and her NPC date/friend Chris as well as, if I can get her established as a Delmorian soon enough, Jen Smith and her boyfriend of sorts (Don't expect the two of them to last long, Jen's a selfish b***h) from mainland New England. I dunno what'll go down, since I'm not LoSI crew in the loop of this, but it should be a REALLY fun roleplaying experience.
Next up is April's prom. Even though C's parents are evil and not letting him go, I hope you have THE most fun at your Senior prom. Your dress looks amazing, I saw you get your shoes (and, as much as I know you hate heels sometimes [as do we all], you were really graceful on those heels!), and it seems like you have most everything in order. If you really want, I can even come up there before your prom, lend you some makeup (I have never-been-used lavender eyeshadow that matches your dress~), and generally help out if you need it... I planned to make 4/25 a free day, but I'll make an exception for the Spectacular Slutmuffin.
Then, the one you've all probably been wondering when I'm going to get to... MY OWN PROM. After three years of trying (lol, Averill fail!), I actually have a prom date (Haha, Averill win!). I'm going with Scott and we're both REALLY excited. I have my outfit ready, plus we're going to prom on-get this-a BOAT. There's a group of us on Facebook who's trying to arrange to show up in odd rides to make prom more memorable. I passed on the idea to Scott and he LOVED it. As did I, lol. So... I set it up with my future step grandfather to go to prom on a boat on a trailer, pulled by his truck. IT'S GONNA BE AWESOME. We're still planning a lot of things out, but prom should be pretty epic. I'm also pretty excited that for the first time in 3 years, I have a prom date. xD I've been trying to get one each year starting as a sophomore when I wanted one of my Junior guy friends to take me. Also, lol, thanks to the whole Brandon situation (which is over, by the way, I'm so bad at updating this journal) for teaching me to just get over myself and if I want to ask a guy out... asking him out. Yeah, I invited Scott to prom. Shut up, I'm kind of a nonconformist sometimes. Guys are terrible at picking up hints to ask you out and I'm not the kind of girl who sits around and waits for the guy to make a move if I like a guy--either accept me or reject me on the spot and save myself lots of heartache. =] That's all the news I have right now on the subject of proms.
