Deliah returned home late at night. Her dress seemed to have the stench of whiskey and whine. Deliah trembled a bit. She felt her heart pound with pain as she relived the night over and over in her head. Deliah clenched her fists tight and gave a small cry. Deliah never had anyone to look after her. She was left with a small house on the outskirts of town. She made a living helping and taking care of the towns people. She knew her body could not take some of the abuse the towns people ordered her to do. Deliah walked around the small cottage and then finally sat down on her hay bed.
Deliah knew she would have but only a short amount of time to sleep. She would go with out breakfast or lunch and maybe even dinner. She was thought she was lucky if she got two meals a day. Deliah drifted off to sleep.
Deliah woke with her body pounding with pain. She did not complain about it. She quickly changed her white dress and ran out the door. She began to walk as she reached the town. Everyone stared at her and grinned trying to act like they appreciated what work she had done. "Over here Deliah," shouted the baker. Deliah smiled and rushed into the store as if she were a pet.

I am simply writing of a girl who has no way of ever being accepted by society unless she is mean. She tries hard to make people happy but in the end she is hurt. Neil is also a character who is spoiled and does not appreciate life.
