The moon Shining bright in the middle of the night Bringing peace everywhere it is Looking the same everywhere it goes. The moon Hoping and wishing for world peace to finally come. But for how long? Should we wait forever and get nowhere? Hope for everything to go good by itself Waiting for the right moment to let the world see its true colors. Our moon Looking like a small part of the universe But to me it’s one of the biggest parts Always standing bright in the sky Guiding me home ever so slowly. Hardly taking a break from all its hard work It may seem like just another space rock in the sky Or it could be one of your best friends Helping you make your decisions Helping you make the right choice in life The moon Not just another star in the gloomy blue sky Not everyone’s moon It’s the earth’s friend Its buddy that listens to everything the earth says.
