I thought to start off with I'll just post some haikus I've written recently:

Inhale, now exhale
Breathe in the light of your eyes
Forever is now

Your hand upon mine
A feeling that makes me weak
I cannot let go

Kiss me for goodbye
Taste these tears of our parting
I die without you

Black oblivion
Pulling me down into hell
That sweet nothingness

Completion is near
This pain starts with destruction
You can’t see me cry

Hearts are like gold flowers
It only blooms with tending
Mine has withered dead

Gold and silver smiles
Those picture perfect lovers
Their love mocks my pain

Teach me how to live
Now that you have gone away
My life is not mine

Affection is cruel
Given but never received
That’s my lot in life

I thought you knew me
Now I know you never did
Your lies are too much

This pain will go on
My broken heart is bleeding
Forever in pain

I remember love
The balm the soothed my anguish
Now I burn alone

You once held me close
Your promises I clung to
Now it all is gone

‘I love you’ he said
What a lie to tell someone
With such cruel intent

Forever is dead
That word has no more meaning
My eternity

Once I was in love
It felt like I could almost fly
But now that is gone

You once made me smile
But now I’m prone to crying
This was caused by you

Have you ever cried?
Wondering if I am dead
You don’t care at all

I need to be saved
My life’s in your hands alone
Will you please catch me?

This is how it ends
Tangled in this bloody vest
This knife went too deep

Would you pull it out?
Or let me die beside you
This is your last chance

My whole life is here
This song will never end me
Singing of my shame

Believe me my dear
I never wanted this pain
You were my one reason

I followed footsteps
You stumbled into this life
I wanted to help

Has it ever stopped?
Life is red upon my hands
This wound is my friend

This light is so dull
I can hardly see to breathe
You are all that’s real

Done is all the world
This play needs to reach an end
My hand strikes the blow

The sunrise is here
Bright and warm with welcoming
The moon has faded

Just like all your love
It flew away and left me
Devastated me

This is how to die
The slow pain of a lost love
The worst kind of hurt
