Right, there's a little thing in the "GAIA" COMMUNITY DISCUSSION that always annoys me a bit.
You know how people make repeat threads?
How exactly is it that it's decided which thread is the one people post in?
I've seen the people who created repeat threads, go into the other person's thread, trying to lure posters away, saying things like
"I already made this thread, come over here"
"Mine's better"
"Mine actually has discussion" &--- It was a spoon topic
And then there's that one person who made the item list for the new RandoBox BEFORE IT WAS EVEN RELEASED.
Now that's just silly.
Next, we've got the people who post in misplaced threads saying things along the line of "GTFO" or "Wrong forum, noob"
AND THEN THEY DON'T REPORT THE TOPIC.
Not only are they breaking the rule against flaming, they're breaking the rule against not posting in misplaced threads, and adding to the trouble by not informing a moderator.
Next we've got the users who go around wearing the forum badges, just for the sake of saying "LUL I AM GCD'ER LOOK AT ME"
That's always seemed just a wee bit immature to me.
I could understand wearing it if you need a bit of silvergray to balance the rest of the outfit, but some people wear them because they think they HAVE to, in order to post in the GCD.
AND OF COURSE, we can't forget the rants.
RANTS BELONG IN JOURNALS <-- See? I put mine in one, why can't you?
SPOONS
HOLY s**t
WHAT THE ******** SPOONS
HERE'S A TYPICAL SPOON TOPIC
new item lul
spoons:

******** christ it's like the GCD has become a playground for the mentally inept.
