The NEW Adventures of King and Friends: Zero Beasts
“Where are we?” Tofu asked.
“A jungle,” I replied, answering the amazingly obvious question.
“…Jerk.”
“Moron.”
“I know we’re in a jungle, but WHERE!?”
“Hey, King, did Fate say anything back then?” Abron asked.
“No. Nothing…”
“You okay, baby?” Dragon whispered, putting her hand on my shoulder. I gave back a slow nod as we looked around, seeing trees and grass. “It looks like an Amazon, so that helps a bit.”
Rustle….Rustle….Rustle….
“What was that?” I asked.
“Zero Squad, armor up,” Dragon ordered, and we quickly obeyed, our auras appearing, followed by our armors. “Whoever you are, come out now!”

“It’s quiet,” Skull whispered. “Too qu-”
“PAPA!”
“AHHH! OOF! N-Neko?!” I screamed as I saw the face of my daughter.
“Hi, Papa! Neko-chan has missed you!” she giggled, hugging me. “Dragon-sensei?” she gasped and jumping off of me to hug Dragon. “Neko-chan has missed you two!”
“Guys, this is Neko. King’s daughter,” my girlfriend explained as I stood up, though the next question made me hit the ground once more.
“…Did King knock up a cat?” Game_Freak asked.
POW!
“SHE’S ADOPTED!” I roared, after hitting him.
“There are easier ways to tell a man,” groaned Game_Freak as he recovered from my attack.
“Hello Alex,” a voice greeted as a small Golden Retriever puppy walked out of a bush. “And friends.”
“Dante!” Dragon smiled, hugging the puppy.
“…Who is that!?” Abron asked.
“My babysitter,” I sighed as I cradled Neko in my hands.
“…You have some odd friends, little brother,” Aqua commented.
“Trust me, sis, you haven’t seen anything yet.”
“Fate send you?” Dante asked.
“Yeah, why?” Matt asked.
“Then come on. D told us that when you got here Neko and I were to show you something. Hurry up,” the talking dog ordered, leading them off.
“…Couldn’t hurt him to say please, huh?” Dragon sighed. “Guys stay here, we’ll be right back,” she said as the Zero Squad (that includes me) walked after the puppy, with Neko behind us.
“…What are we suppose to do!?” Abron asked.
“Entertain yourself!” I yelled back.
“…So…How is everyone?” Hector asked.

“Where are we?” Angie asked.
“A temple.”
“Thanks for the obvious, King.”
“No problem.”
“This is an ancient temple, telling of the future events that will soon take place,” Dante explained.
“Nya…Smells like rats,” Neko commented as I piggybacked her around.
“It does, doesn’t it?” I added.
“AHEM!” Dante interrupted. “Where was I? Oh right. Sit,” he ordered, pointing at four stone seats with his nose. The four seats were in a square, and in the center was a large white pearl.
“…Is this going to hurt?” I asked as Neko jumped off my back.
“Dunno. Tell me when you’re done,” Dante answered
“I hate you,” I sighed as I took my seat next to my girlfriend.
“Now what, Dante?” Matt asked.
“Stare into the orb and don’t move. Neko, let’s leave them alone. No telling what this will do to them,” the puppy whispered, leading the catgirl out.
“Bye Papa, Neko-chan loves you!” she said, and kissed my cheek before leaving.
“She’s a sweet kid,” I commented.
“Focus, King. Get your best parent award, later,” Matt sighed.
“Always have to rain on my parade, don’t you?” I replied.
“Both of you shut it,” Dragon ordered. The rest of that moment was of the four of us staring into the pearl between us. It was as boring as hell until our eyes started to glow.
My eyes turned red, Matt’s black, Angie’s white, and my Dragon’s blue. Next thing we knew we stood before the Devil, our old friend D…Boy that’s weird to say.
“Miss Dragon,” D smiled, taking Dragon’s hand and kissing it. “Miss Belle,” he greeted Angie.
“We’re here two you know,” I commented.
“D, where are we?” my girlfriend asked.
“The future. Things are a little…hectic, at the moment, my young friends.”
“No? Really? Hadn’t noticed,” Matt commented.
“Sarcasm will get you no where, Matthew. Follow me.”
D moved his hand and a white corridor appeared in front of us. He walked down it, and we followed, our footsteps echoing through the tunnel, while his were silent. Which makes you wonder if he even walks, or instead floats…?
“Many things are coming into fruition. The Masters are reawakening, and their Servant is growing stronger. This is how the world ends.”
“You’re speaking in riddles, D,” Angie commented.
“The only one who can save is the Omega. A being that is not a single being, but an avatar of unity, hope, and individuality.”
“…Seriously, D. Riddles,” I said.
“Perhaps it is better to show you, rather then tell.”
“Show us what?” Dragon asked as we came to a door, and D opened it for us.
What we saw inside was darkness, a living darkness. It moved like a cloud, and flooded into the path, surrounding us. Still, even in the dark we saw a strange light.
“This is the beginning. You must free him, lay down the seeds of hope, and help it grow to become a tree. In other words, my young allies. Gather your friends, and gather your enemies. You will need all the help you can get to stop the Legion.”
“The who?” Dragon asked. “D? D!” my girlfriend yelled as we suddenly found ourselves back in the temple. “Great…”

“Hello, humans.”
“Poison!” the heroes yelled as Poison, Maya, the Elementals, and Bon appeared.
“Yo! We’re here two you know!” Dark Thunder yelled.
“No one cares about the evil henchmen,” Tofu said.
“JERK!”
“Quiet!” Fire ordered, elbowing the man.
“Where is my brother?” Poison asked.
“Gone, with the rest of the Zero Squad!” Game_Freak answered.
“Is that so? Deal with them, while I go seek the Zero Squad. Bon, Maya, with me,” he ordered as the Elementals jumped at our heroes.
“Oh no you don’t!” Abron yelled and charged at the armored murderer.
“Oh please,” he sighed as Bon tackled him and the two grappled with one another. “Get rid of him, Bon, and then come along. I know you’ve been itching to kill my brother.”
“Yes, Master,” my old friend responded and kneed Abron between the legs, before throwing him aside.

“WHAT!?! Poison is supposed to save us!?” Matt asked as we stood outside the temple. “The monster who tortured your friend, and sister, who nearly killed us, who is trying to destroy everything, is supposed to be the savior of the universe!?”
“Makes less sense to me,” I sighed.
“How is that psychopath supposed to save us?” Matt asked.
“I’m sure there’s good in him somewhere, if he’s anything like Alex,” Angie commented.
“I’m nothing like my brother…”
“Kiva! Bon?” I gasped, seeing the two walk over.
“You know what to do,” Poison said as he and Bon walked up to the four heroes.
“Yes, Master,” Bon whispered, before suddenly jumping at me.
“Zero Squad, GO!” Dragon declared. In a flash, four different auras covered our bodies and we were transformed into our armored forms.
“I got Bon, get my brother!” I ordered, giving Bon a punch to the face, sending him back. The others nodded and chased after Poison as I glared at Bon through my helmet.
“Let’s go…You and me, and don’t give any of that, ‘you’re my friend and I don’t want to hurt you,’ cra-”
POW!
“I’m sorry; did I ruin your speech?” I laughed as I sucker punched Bon.
“Move!” Skull ordered as he led the others back, nearly dodging a fireball from Fire.
“Nya! Over here, nya!” Neko called out, motioning the others to follow her down a hidden tunnel.
“Aww! Look! A kitty! Let’s fry her up!” Lightning laughed.
“Touch her, and die!” Dante warned.
“Ha! You going to try and fight me little puppy? What you going to do, bite my shoelace?!”
Dante growled before closing his eyes. Suddenly the puppy began to grow as his gold fur turned black as coal. He let out a roar as the once small puppy, turned into a werewolf.
“I’m going to bite off more than your shoelace…”
“….Crud.”
“YAY! GO DANTE GO! GO DANTE GO!” Neko cheered, suddenly in a cheerleader outfit and jumping up and down. GO DANTE! D-O-N-T-E-E! DANTE!”
“You misspelled my name Neko!” Dante yelled, throwing a large rock at Thunder’s head. “Abron, look out!”
“Huh? Whoa!” he yelled, ducking under Water’s staff, and sweep kicking his legs. “Thanks!”
“Nya, Dante is so cool!” Neko giggled.
“Awww! Neko has a crush on Dante!” Aqua giggled.
The catgirl suddenly turned red and looked at her ‘aunt.’ “Nya! No, Neko no have crush on Dante! Neko just think Dante is neat!”
“Dante, are you blushing?” Game_Freak laughed.
“Shut up!” the werewolf ordered as he punched Earth back. “J-just shut up!”
“You are!”
“I said shut up!”
“Nya! Papa?” Neko suddenly interrupted, seeing me and Bon fighting behind some trees. “Papa!” she called, and ran over to us.
“Neko? Get out of here! Now!” I ordered, and blocked a punch from Bon and kneed him in the gut.
He ducked under a high kick and tackled me down to the ground. He began punching me in the face, hitting me into the ground. I quickly grabbed his hand though and squeezed it tightly, before punched him back.
“You can’t beat me Bon! I’m stronger than you!” I yelled and slammed my foot on the ground, shaking it to prove it.
“Wanna bet!?” he yelled and tackled me again, right into a tree. We soon broke right through it and we hit the ground. “Die Night!” he ordered, slamming his fists against my head again.
“Don’t call me that!” I ordered, kicking him off. “Night died a long time ago!” I argued, and jumped up, followed by slamming my fist against his head. I then uppercut him in the face, and grabbed his leg, throwing him aside.
“Master told me about you…All the people you killed. You sicko…HAHAHAHAHAHA!” Bon taunted, disappearing into the shadows.
“Come out and fight!”
“What was it like killing that poor baby? Dropping it right out of a window? How cold…What about that innocent man? Or the nuns and priests? Sure you killed a few bad people, but all those innocent people you two killed. Disgusting.”
“Mind games…Fun,” I sighed, before taking out my laser pistol and shooting the trees, setting them ablaze. “Come on out, Bon! I promise not to kill you! Just to beat you into unconsciousness!”
“Papa! Behind you!” Neko screamed.
“Huh? WHOA!” I yelled and blocked Bon’s fist. I pushed him back and gave him a punch, but he dodged it and grabbed my arm. My opponent raised his knee and tried to hit me, but I kicked him down with my foot, sending us both falling.
“Give up! You can’t beat me Night!”
“I said, stop calling me that!” I roared, and grabbed his head in my hands and threw him into a burning tree. He let out a scream of pain as the fire burned his skin and my eyes widened. “BON!”
“Nya! Papa! Papa!” Neko called out, running to me and stopped me from entering the fire.
“Neko, move, I have to save my friend!” I ordered, as Bon rolled around and tried to focus his mind off of his burning flesh.
“Neko will save Uncle Bon! Watch, Neko, Papa!”
“What are you…what the heck?”
A multicolored aura surrounded my daughter as I just watched in amazement. The aura was a mix of silver, orange, purple, and pink, and it glowed like glitter. Suddenly the aura shot out of her, and light blasted out of her mouth and eyes.
“NEKO!”
Four different lights shot out of her mouth and eyes, each one made of one of the four colors that made the aura. I watched in amazement as the four beams of light flew around me before shooting out in random directions.
One of which flew at Bon.
The orange beam hit him and the fire disappeared in a second. His screams stopped and he now had an orange aura around his body.
“Unleash…the Beast!” Bon yelled.
“Neko, what just happened!?” I asked.
“Nya, Neko is just doing what Mr. D said to do!”
“Which is?”
“Nya, unleash the Zero Beasts, Papa!”
“Zero Beasts?”
“With the Strength of a Crab!”

“What are those things?” Water asked as the beams of light zoomed past them
“They seem to be beams of light,” Steel commented.
“No, really? OF COURSE I GET THAT!” Fire screamed, smacking Steel.
“Look!” Lightning yelled, pointing at the silver beam of light.
“Huh? Whoa!” Hector gasped as the silver beam encircled him, before shooting into hit chest. “Unleash the Beast! With the Heart of a Tiger!”
“Aqua!” Skull screamed as the purple beam hit her body.
“Unleash the Beast! With the Deadliness of a Snake!” she cried out.
“AHHHH!” Tofu screamed as he ran away from the pink beam. “Go away! Go away! Go the freak away!” he commanded, but the beam finally got him. “Unleash the Beast! With the Speed of a Stingray!”

“Look out!” Dragon warned as an energy ball exploded nearby.
“We need back up! Where’s Alex?” Angie cried out as Poison’s chains nearly hit her.
“Die!” Poison screamed, beside him Maya stood, quiet and solemn face her Master destroyed the Zero Squad.
“Angie, cover Matt, I’ll go left and flank Poison!” Dragon yelled.
“Right!”
“Oh no you don’t!” Poison roared and let out a loud screech, making the three heroes groan in pain from the sonic screech. All of a sudden though, a tomahawk was thrown at Poison, who stopped his attack and grabbed it. “Hmmm?”
“Hello, ‘Master!’”
“Hey Kiva, I hope you don’t mind…I broke Bon free of your little curse,” I grinned as

“Zero Beasts! Roll call!” Hector declared.
“Zero Five the Sea Hunter! Why am I pink? Alex, you b*****d, you did this!” Tofu whined.
“Zero Six the Crushing Destroyer!” Bon yelled, and slashed the air with his large pincer hand.
“Zero Seven the Tiger’s Claw!” Hector declared as he held two tomahawks, or small axes.
“Zero Eight the Mystic Viper!” Aqua shouted and from the ground below her shot out a large purple, mechanical viper. “….Cool!”
“Zero Beasts, ATTACK!” I commanded, and the four jumped at Poison.
“Alex…What’s going on?” Dragon asked as I walked over.
“Well, ya see, D gave Neko four magical animals from the Spirit World. They were the Crab, the Tiger, the Stingray, and the Cobra. Neko then unleashed their souls and they went into Bon, Hector, Tofu, and Aqua, giving them Zero Squad armor,” I explained.
“….You’re kidding?” asked Matt.
“Nope!”
“They’re actually pretty good,” Angie commented.
“AHHHH!” Tofu screamed as he was thrown into a tree.
“…Maybe a little green, but pretty good.”
“Let’s give the rookie’s a hand then, shall we? Zero Squad! Attack!” screamed Dragon and with that, we leapt into action.
“Megaton Punch!” I screamed, slamming my fist into Poison’s head, sending him flying into Bon.
“Drill Punch!” Bon yelled as his pincer hand began to spin like a drill. He then slammed the drill into Poison’s gut, throwing him back, and denting his armor. “That’s payback, Poison!”
“Heaven’s Light!” Angie declared, and fired a golden beam from her hands, blasting Poison’s helmet, breaking a piece of it.
“Cobra Cannon!” shouted my sister as her cobra suddenly opened its metal mouth and fired a purple beam of energy, blasting off the rest of Poison’s helmet. “This is so cool!” she squealed.
“Dragon Sword Strike!” screamed my girlfriend who slashed at my brother’s chest armor, leaving various deep cuts.
“Tiger Claw Armageddon!” Hector continued, and jumped at the villain and began to make wild, random strikes and stabs with his claws, shattering even more of his armor.
“Shadow Lance!” announced Matt as he charged forward. As he ran at Poison, a black aura surrounded him and suddenly a long, black, energy lance appeared in his hand, piercing through my brother’s body before blasting him off and hitting him into a tree.
“HA! HIYA! WHOA! YIHA! Gr….” Tofu shouted. “…I got nothing.”
SMACK!
“Ow!” he yelled after I had smacked his head. “Oh! I got it! Ha…!” he began as a pink cube appeared in the air. “Flying…Cardboard…Box….KICK!” he announced and jumped into the air, and kicked the cube, which had turned into a cardboard box, at Poison.
Bonk.
“…Are you done?” he asked.
“Yep.”
“Its over, brother. We have you out numbered, and outgunned. Give up,” I begged.
“Ne-”
“Do not hurt him!” a voice cried. Maya ran in between the eight of us and the murderer and looked at us with tears. “Please…Don’t hit my Master. Leave him be…He doesn’t deserve this.”
“Doesn’t deserve this? Doesn’t deserve this!? Are you crazy!? This psychopath has killed hundreds of people, tortured me and Aqua, and hundreds of other crimes! He needs to die!” Bon yelled.
“Maya…” Poison whispered, placing her hand on his lover’s shoulder. She turned around and helped him stand and held him in her chocolate colored arms.
“Master…”
“Kratos! Dispose of these annoying heroes!” the evil man ordered.
Instantly, a bolt of lightning fell from the Heavens and shot in the center of ours heroes. They flew to various sides and watched a warrior stand up, a golden rod in hand. It was the warrior from the last chapter. It was…Kratos.
“You know him?” I asked Bon as we stood up.
“Nope. But I know where he’s going. DOWN!” my friend yelled and charged at the golden warrior.
“Hmm?” Kratos hummed, turning to Bon and blocking my friend’s pincers with his staff. “That all you got, loser?”
“Not even close!” Bon yelled and kicked Kratos back.
“Lightning of Hell!” Kratos screamed as clouds formed above us all.
“What the? Hey, Mr. Snake! Save Bon!” Aqua ordered. The snake hissed in response before shooting forward and using its own body to blast a black lightning bolt.
“Um…Thanks?” Bon whispered.
“Hiss…”
“Good boy! Now attack Kratos!” Aqua ordered.
“Hiss!” the cobra responded and headbutted Kratos.
“AHH! Get off!” the golden warrior ordered, and threw the metal beast aside.
“RAH!” Hector yelled, charging at him with his claws.
“Die!” Kratos ordered, shooting a bolt of lightning from his hand, and blasting the warrior back.
“Um…I give up!” Tofu screamed, holding his hands in the air.
“Think fast!” Bon declared as he slammed his head against Kratos’s helmet. “…Holy…” he whispered as the helmet was shattered.
“Yes, yes, I know. I’m ugly,” Kratos smiled as his face was revealed. A near perfect copy of Bon’s face, with red eyes and blue hair. “Now…you think fast!” he screamed as electricity was sent out of his body and blasted Bon back.
“We have to help them!” I yelled.
“We need to focus on Poison!” Dragon argued, stopping me.
“WHOA!” Matt screamed as he and Angie were shot into some trees.
“Maya, Kratos, we’re leaving!” Poison ordered as he fired a ball of energy at Dragon and me. I quickly pushed her out of the way as Abron and the others ran over, having defeated the Elementals.
“You’re not going anywhere!” Ximik said.
“Out of the way.”
“You can’t beat us all, Poison. Give up!” Skull ordered, as Kratos, Maya, and Poison stood against the small army of my friends.
“Sigh…Heaven’s Destruction!”
“Look out!” I screamed as a huge black blast of energy shot out of my brother’s body and sent us all flying.

“What happened?” I groaned.
“Nya! Papa! You okay?” Neko asked as she ran over.
“Neko? Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. Where’s everyone else?”
“Right here. You were the last to wake up,” I heard my girlfriend reply. I walked over to her and hugged her and then looked at the others, realizing Bon, me, Matt, Tofu, Aqua, and the others were no longer wearing their armor. “You okay, baby?”
“I could use a kiss on cheek.”
“Gross!” Tofu commented.
“Nya… Papa?”
“Yeah, Neko?”
“What happens now, nya?”
As if on cue two portals appeared out of thin air and D stepped out of one.
“King.”
“D.”
“Your journey is reaching its end. Go through this portal to near the end of this nightmare,” the hooded man said, motioning to the other portal. “I will take care of Dante and Neko.”
I nodded my head as I looked at my daughter and kissed her forehead. “Hey, kiddo, I’m going to leave you with Uncle D and Dante now, okay? Are you going to behave?”
“Yes, Papa.”
“Good girl,” I smiled and kissed her forehead again before giving her to D. “Keep good care of her D.”
“I understand. Go now.”
“See ya, Dante,” Dragon smiled, kissing the puppy’s forehead.
“Yeah, yeah. You just keep an eye on that boyfriend of yours,” the talking puppy responded as he walked after D, going through the portal.
“Let’s move team,” Dragon said as we all walked to the portal D made.
“So King…That little catgirl was your daughter?” Bon asked.
“Yep! Neko. She’s cute, huh? Don’t get any funny ideas though,” I smiled.
“So…Did you knock up a cat or something?” he laughed.
“SHE’S ADOPTED!”
“Hey, I just realized, this makes me an aunt!” Aqua gasped. “Cool!”
“Hey, can I ask a question? Tofu began.
“No,” I answered.
“Why is my armor PINK!?”
“Because your family hates you,” I sighed as we all walked through the portal.
