So, I love gaia journal entry-ing things out of my system.
Like the fact that parents are EXTREMELY closeminded when it comes to us, their children, and they NEVER take us seriously. Well, not me, anyways. And when you want to do something -like me, with my wicca- in the least bit abnormal they will NEVER support it and suggest 'it's just a phase.' (and did you know that ONE OUNCE of chamomille oil is ******** fourty bucks?)
"Haimom, I think I have depression." "Oh, don't be silly!"
"Haimom, I'm bisexual." "It's just a phase, you'll grow out of it."
"Haidad, do you think that I could have five dollars to get some cedarwood oil?" "What do you need that for?" "A spell that relieves headaches." "No."
"Haimom, I'm a Wiccan." "It's just a phase, you'll grow out of it."
"Haidad, I'm going on pills." "You don't need them."
It depresses me.
And then they won't believe you until you bring home a girlfriend or the school calls saying that they found self-inflicted cuts on your daughter's/son's forearm.
Oh, but that's not even the BEST part! The best part is when your mom says "are you happy now!?" as she drives you to the E.R. to get admitted and then your dad says "are you proud of this or what?" because they THINK you were trying to prove a point to them. ********!?! I hate parents. And this might just be me I'm talking about. confused
So, I haven't come out to my dad yet about the whole bisexual thing. I don't think I will because I'm really ******** tired of being told 'it's just a phase.' Does a phase REALLY last TWO ******** YEARS!!? Or MORE. I didn't figure it out until fourth, and didn't come out until seventh. ********! I'll tell him after college....when he can't deny paying my college intuition, or getting me a car. And when he can't kick me out of his house. heart
