I really love creating personalities and such for drow. So I decided to post my enteries for the Drow Circus event here for future refferal if i do not win them. I can always use the personalities later!
Drow: The Dragon Tamer Name: Ssukuzo
"Ssukuzo! Hurry up, your act is up soon!" A voice called loud and annoyingly clear through the thin wooden wagon door along with some not so easily ignored pounding. Ssukuzo's head lifted the coarse grey blanket from the bed, and amid some major wriggling beneath the blanket, he slipped his naked form out grumbling.
"Could have pushed me back a few acts. No reason to rush me out at this time." he grumbled like a bugbear under the flop of messy white hair. As Ssukuzo pulled a pair of form fitting black slacks on, a head poked out from the same end of the blanket that he had wriggled out from under. Crimson eyes and a sulky pout followed him from under long white strands of hair.
"You have to leave? -Now-? Should I..." The drowess spoke with a soft whine, but was interrupted as Ssukuzo pulled his spotted wrap on over his shoulders.
"No no. You go on and finish without me. I'll be a while. No reason for you to stop now." He told the female with a obviously unhappy tone to his voice. Telling her to finish was hardly what Ssukuzo wanted to say. But he had a job to do. If he didn't play his part then he'd be booted from the Circus and someone else would be hired to take over the false drama for the masses. Ssukuzo ran his fingers through his hair and mussed up the short strands even more as the females head dissappeared beneath the covers and a pair of giggles came from beneath the blanket. Ssukuzo's sour expression peered back at him from the mirror as he pulled his goggles on, and then exited the wagon.
Outside the wagon, one of the circus hands stood with a leering grin on his face. "Your looking moody Ssukuzo." He observed as Ssukuzo stalked across the ground.
"Twins Mathis. -Twins-" He replied with a scathing glare. His look was met with a humored laugh of course.
"Ah! You'll have forgotten all about them by the next city Ssukuzo and would be turning your eye to some new young thing. Still...Twins are nice. Identical?" Mathis asked with a backwards glance towards his wagon. "Maybe I should check on them and see if they need any...help..."
"You'll stay out of my wagon or I'll sic Zentaur on you and claim I was just trying to spice up my act a bit." Ssukuzo warned the other drow.
"Bah. that dragon is so spoiled on rothemeat I doubt it would even know how to chew on a live meal anymore." Mathis scoffed.
"Not even a proper dragon at that. Dragonne is what it is. I feel like a charlatane calling myself a dragon tamer. Why can't I convince the Ringmaster to invest in a real dragons egg?" Ssukuzo lamented as he came round to where the lion headed Draggone was lapping gracefully at a bucket of water while being brushed by one of the circus hands in preparation of it's performance.
"Probably has something to do with the fact you can't keep your eyes from wandering below the Ringmasters chin." Mathis remarked in a good natured tone while scratching at his chin. "That and dragon eggs are pricey, not to mention difficult to raise from an egg, and Goddess save you if the mother hunts you down." he continued on as Ssukuzo garbed himself with a pair of thick rothleather gloves and strapped a flashy whip to his hip. These were all arguments he had heard before, and he merely grunted in response. He had joined the circus for the chance to travel. To see the world, and most importantly, to get a chance to study dragons. The scaled magical lizards had always fascinated Ssukuzo. He had sold the idea of being a dragon tamer to the Ringleader years ago, and the act concept had definatly proved as profitable and crowd pleaseing as he had eagerly painted it to be. But he had found only bitter dissappointment when he had been given the Draggone instead of a real dragon to raise and tame. Sure, to the crowd it was the same thing...but Ssukuzo knew better. In his heart this was nothing. He wanted to look into the eyes of a real dragon. Face the beast down. Dominate it. Control it and become it's master. They were wonderouse beasts full of power. He wanted to hold that power and stand like a glowing star. Unfortunatly all he had was the bitter pessemistic hope that he could save enough gold to purchase a dragon egg of his own in the future.
The sound of loud clapping announced the end of the current act, and Ssukuzo flipped his hand over his hair to muss it up again. Time to perform... With a scowl on his face he stalked into the ring of cheering drow. Ever the surly tamer, he'd perform his little act, get nipped and bit and make the draggone coil and hiss. The crowd would love it. Later he'd pose and show off his 'dragon scars' to the curious throng, and if he was lucky the twins would still be in his bed ready for a second encounter by the time he was able to slip away...
