Today I ent walking with my brother, my sister, and my sister's friend. My sister had drove us to the trail which starts by a gas station. We started walking and talked and whatever. Saw one of my teachers running the trail. Said hey and whatever and then we had finished walking the trail and decided to cross the street to the other trail. Then we decided to walk to our house. My sister's friend went along. You probably though that was stupid because the car was all the way back at the gas station and it would take 2 miles to get back. Though we went on. Ok so we started getting closer probably walked 4 miles by now and so we are walking and you know we were passing houses. And we were like wow and oh look at that house its so beautiful and then we come upon these two houses they both hae horses. So we were like oooh the house is beautiful so we see a white husky. Beautiful dog but scary. It was like a white wolf coming up. We started panicing and picking up our step. It stayed by the shed or whatever it was by but it kept creeping up a little bit but we finally kept going and seemed harmless to him so he gave up on us. We relaxed though still a little scared. Because then we started seeing fenced in areas. You know fenced in areas mean dogs but some people take them out of the fenced area and "forget" to put them back in. And sometimes when dogs bark they attract other dogs. So we get quiet though the leaves are crunching under our feet cuz you know its fall. Soon enough we see a dog. It's a rottweiler! We get scared though he is fully fenced because some dogs have fences but they dont be fenced all the way or they have a hole in the fence they get out of. But its scary because he's growling at us. He sounded like he wanted to rip our throats out though we got passed. We were all tensed up now. Well, I know I was. I kept saying, "I'm going to throw up if we don't get home," Soon we see the lighting area where we cross the street to our house. I softened a little bit though I knew there were a few dogs up ahead because we tried to walk the path one time but the dogs were coming toward us so we had to go back home. Though turned out they were fenced in this time though they were barking at us and it was a bunch of little dogs. As we were going to the house I looked up and stopped. All my hopes just seem to drain, "Oh my god, look ahead. The freakin' neighbor's dog is in our yard." Then my sister was like what and then, "Are you serious?" I felt like giving up I was like I'm not going through this again. The dog, now it wasn't no little dog because if it was little it wouldn't have been no big deal and when a dog is big and wants to jump on you. You can forget about it because I was not going to have that big dog claw its nails into my throat. I bet if he jumped he could reach my head and I'm pretty tall. Somewhat 5'6. Anyway the dog seem to have been sitting there waiting on us. He must've seen us once we rounded the corner to the house. I was about to cross the street to the house but he got close once we started to and he walked up to the ditch. We just stood there. I was furious. That day I figured out when your scared and upset it can make your emotions blow up in rage and get frustrated. I was yelling, "You have to call someone! We cant stand out here! Freak!" I was probably sounding a like a butt hole but all I knew was that I was not about to sit here across the street. But I had no other way I just paced back and forth watching the dog. Waiting for his next move. It kept getting closer. I was sort of hoping he was stupid enough to want to get us so bad he would cross the street and get hit by a car, but that was mean to think about but I was hoping hard. The little girl who was our neighbor finally called the dog and he or she turned around and walked back toward the girl. We finally crossed the street. Though when we were finally getting there right up next to our house. Now we have two doors to our house. A front one where when you pass our house you see it but we dont use it. Then we have a car porch. Where we park our cars then there's a door inside. That's the one we enter. My brother had already sped walked to the door. Me, my sis and her friend were still walking and was right next to the car porch. The dog came back. He stood there. He seem to be looking toward me. I just looked him in the eye. I was already exhausted, scared out of my wits and I was not about to let a dog murder me because that was not how I planned to die.He was growling. My brother had already went toward the door. I thought he had rung the doorbell so someone would come out and see we were stuck but oh no. Somehow he was stupid enough to run back to where we were when he could have been in the house. He's only 6 but gosh he has more sense than that. Well, that I know of. I guess he couldn't see he was protected from the dog and the dog had no way of seeing nor touching him. Then soon the little girl ran in her house and got one of her parents to get the dog. The dog ran back. I yelled, "Thank you!" and she yelled, "Sorry,". My sis was like she ain't sorry. I walked in the house though we didn't speak a word about the dog encounters thoguh we walked about 4 or 5 miles.
The thing about it is their dog who likes to cross into our yard when they got a backyard he can run around in and yes i know because I've been over there before. Plus he has a shock collar. Somehow the shock collar was not affective because somehow he found a way to get around it or they turned it off. And you cannot miss the shock collar cuz you can see it around his neck. Our other neighbors have dogs though their fenced in. Their just noisy. The other neighbors dont. We dont have any dogs. I hope someday my parents will change their mind about dogs. But as long as my neighbors are around they won't. We are just lucky our neighbors who live behind us dont have dogs the we would be surrounded by dogs. Then we stayed at our house watching youtube stuff and then I went to sleep and my sis and her friend went back to get their cars. I dont know if they walked back though on the other side of the road not down the trail. Or my mom went and took them but I dont know and I dont care. They made it back safe so we dont have to be making hospital visits. Next time we walk the trail we are walk 1.75 mile then turning back around. I just hope everyone has enough sense to fence their dogs so the dog dont attack someone just passing by and hurt them so they dont sue you and you have to pay hospital bills. Otherwise train your dogs. Be smart!
