Visions of Envisioning
contimplations on real life, and real people.
To love or not love that is truly the question. We spend some times our entire lives searching for that other half of our soul. But e question the true question lies in this: Can a person have more than one soul mate, if you have had more than one life? Perhaps you have been searching for the one that has matched you and had connected with the wrong one but connected none the less, and but left wandering the universe into the next life looking for the right one.
Then you perhaps find them, but whoops nope, and it repeats til you have more and more and more. So in this life, you have this awakening and find all of them at once.
So will the real slim shady please stand up?
How would you know?
Would the others who were not real just fade into the back ground and disappear as if they never existed?
Would the true one remain behind like a freed enchantment?
Or would they all fade away because there is no soul mate and you had yet to find one because you are truly alone in this world, and love is an illusion and a state of mind?
All I know for certain is I want to be loved period. May I never be as conflicted as my wandering hypothetical mind.
Catullus V

Vivamus, mea Lesbia, atque amemus,
rumoresque senum severiorum
omnes unius aestimemus assis!
soles occidere et redire possunt:
nobis c** semel occidit brevis lux,
nox est perpetua una dormienda.
da mi basia mille, deinde centum,
dein mille altera, dein secunda centum,
deinde usque altera mille, deinde centum.
dein, c** milia multa fecerimus,
conturbabimus illa, ne sciamus,
aut ne quis malus invidere possit,
c** tantum sciat esse basiorum.

Let us live, my Lesbia, let us love,
and all the talk of the stern old men,
may it be worth a penny!
Suns may set, and suns may rise again:
but when our brief light has set,
night is one long everlasting sleep.
Give me a thousand kisses, then a hundred,
then another thousand, and then another hundred,
and, when we've counted up the many thousands,
let us confuse them so as not to know them all,
so that no enemy may cast an evil eye,
when he finds out that there were so many kisses.

I would think that the others that you'd connected with would see what you had, respect it, and then go look for their own.
Love is not an illusion, it is real, and it is there, enveloping us always like a blanket. One day however we will find our way through it and see just who it is that is our 'one' and the smile and joy will be worth all the ache of the pasts.
