Sophia She's 2 and a half, and a big sister now. She's a little rougher around the baby than she should be, but I try not to be too harsh on her. I'm trying desperately to make sure she knows shed's still loved, even with a new baby in the house. I feed her almost every meal personally, I play with her in between Dante's feedings, and I read to them both. Sophia speaks better than most three and four year olds do. She's still got more personality in her left pinky than most adults have in their entire bodies, and she's still my baby girl. Her laughter fills the house, and she runs ridiculously fast. She's clumsy, though. She's constantly tripping over her own feet, furniture, other people, and the animals.
Dante Dante Anthony Siegfried was born on Thursday, May 6th, 2010 at 1:50 am at Tampa General Hospital. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 19 inches long. He had slight respiratory distress, and needed his first X-ray, which was taken of his chest to make sure his lungs were in good shape, which they were. He was announced "perfectly healthy" ast his pediatrician's office the following Tuesday.
He's only two weeks old at the moment. He doesn't do much other than eat, sleep, and poop. He spends about an hour or two a day just looking around at everyone and everything he can. He eats from the bottle without problems when Mommy isn't around to breastfeed or when we're out at a doctor's appointment. He's got bright Blue eyes! [which we're all hoping he keeps instead of turning brown, but you ever know with babies]
