VOUG IS NUTS!
Voug

Maria blushed, "Oh alright! Zar and me will take care of her!" Maria and Zarla dragged Krissy to their cabin, "Ugh.. You need to change your clothes!"
"Yeah I'm going to do right now," Zarla took off her wet clothes and put on dry clothes.
"I wish there was a bath, "sighed Maria as she wet a cloth and put it on Krissy's forehead.
"We're pirates... We don't need to take baths!" smiled Zarla as she prepared their beds.
"I know."
"A Lotus princess, eh? Do you know her?" asked Zarla as she poured a kettle into cups.
"Yeah, I do know her."
"Really?"
"Yes, we were actually childhood friends..."
"Isn't the Kraken a male?" Zarla gave a cup of tea to Maria, and sipped it.
"Well, the truth is that the princesses of Lotus are destined to marry monsters."
"What?! I never of that!"
"Yup, it's true. Krissy told me, when we were young. She told me that we won't ever see each other, when I leave for Ivory. I guess she was wrong."
"Monsters.. But why?"
"The kingdom of Lotus sits at a dark pearl point. These points have the most monster tenants. The only way for Lotus to be free of these monsters from invading is to have their princesses to be married to those monsters."
"Ew."
"I guess she was wedded to the Kraken."
"But why was she just a bubble underneath the Kraken?"
"The legend is that the wife of the Kraken will be come a smaller version of the Kraken, when she touches the sea."
"Oh, but how come she's not with him?"
"He must be around somewhere... Maybe that's why Sark was hunting for the Krissy."
"So odd.. I'm going to talk to Sark, I'll be back later," Zarla got up and went to Sark's cabin. She hears Sark and Grave arguing about something.
"We don't need to!" yelled Grave as he shoved his way out of the door.
Zarla peeked into the dark room, "Is it a bad time?"
"Oh it's you Zarla. Come in." Sark was sitting at his desk with maps all over the table.
Zarla came into the room and sat down, "So, what were you guys arguing about?"
"Oh just about Krissy and the Kraken."
"Why are you searching for the Kraken?"
"Because... he might know where my pop is."
"Your dad? Why do you..."
"My dad might know how to cure my sister, Ela."
"I see.."
"I guess we should take the port at Goat."
"Yup, we don't have enough ammunition or medicine."
"That's what I thought. You should go to sleep, we'll arrive at Goat tomorrow morning."
"Okay, good night," Zarla left the room and went to sleep at her cabin.
---Tomorrow Morning ---
Zarla woke up and noticed that Krissy was not in her bed, "Maria!! Wake up!" Zarla shook Maria awake.
"What?!'
"Krissy!! She's gone!"
"...Krissy? Gone?! Oh no!" screamed Maria as she threw the bed sheets onto the floor. She ran out the door, "Ahhh!!"
"What the heck, Maria?" said Grave as he fished outside of the cabin door.
Maria gasped and blushed, "Krissy!!"
"Krissy? She's at the captain's cabin," Grave sighed, "I think you better not disturb them..."
Zarla came out of the room, "What do you mean?"
"They are pen pals..."
"What!" yelled Maria, wide eyed.
"Umm... yeah.. That's all I know."
"Eww.." responded Maria as she went back to bed, "Come Zar, let's go back to sleep."
"Hey! It's not time to sleep! You guys should go out to town and stretch your muscles!"
"Hmm?" hummed Zarla as she stopped.
"We ported this morning.. We didn't call you guys because we handled it by ourselves..."
"WHAT!" yelled Maria.
"That's not possible!" yelped Zarla.
"Well, that girl... she did all by herself.. somehow.. You guys should be wary of her.."
"Okay!" smiled Maria as she thought of the fact that Grave cares about her. Maria went into the cabin with Zarla to change and pack money in their purses. When they were done, they passes by the captain's cabin, "Ew.." Zarla stared at the cabin and sighed. They walked down to the town, passing children and chickens.
"So where are we headed?" asked Zarla, trying to wipe away her predictions of what they were doing in the captain's cabin.
"Just some pub.. You know we got to have some fun, plus you are worried about Sark, so let's go and drink away our worries!"
"Mar!! It's too early to drink! I want to buy some stuff!"
"Okay.. Zar.. let's go to this stall." They walked over to a stall full of different types of jewelry.
A merchant sat at the stall, "What fine ladies. Can interest you two in some necklaces, or rings?"
Maria browsed through the selection, "Come one Zar pick something."
"It's okay! Remember this necklace? It's more than enough."
"Hmph! Well, you should get a bracelet to go with it!" Maria held up a blue glassy bead bracelet, "Come on try it on!"
Zarla slipped on the bracelet, "It does look good.."
"Ah you have good taste! This bracelet is made from mermaid tears!" grinned the merchant.
"Mermaid tears?" pondered Zarla.
"Mermaid tears are the frozen tears of mermaids.. You know mermaids can't cry liquid tears."
"Eww.." Maria hunted for other bracelets.
"I don't think this really suits me," Zarla took of the bracelet and placed it on the counter.
Maria sighed, "Let's go Zarla, this doesn't really have a big selection!"
The merchant sighed, "Tell your friends to visit Froglegs!"
"Whatever," Maria dragged Zarla to a silk stall.
"Hello," said an old woman attending the booth.
"So, what is the best silk you got?" asked Maria as she eyed a silver silk scarf.
"What are you talking about young one?! All these silk are made from the craftiest worksmen and silkworms!"
"I see.. I want to see that silver one and that brown one." The woman nodded and handed those two scarfs to Maria, "Zar, try on this brown scarf!" Maria placed the silver scarf around her neck.
"Okay," Zarla put the scarf onto her head to make a bandanna, "Ooo, I'll buy this one," Zarla handed 10 gold coins to the woman to pay for Maria's as well.
Maria dragged Zarla to a clothes store, "Zar, let's go try on and buy some clothes!" smiled Maria.
"Okay!" As they entered the clothes shop, they noticed that Krissy was there being fitted with a Victorian style dress. Sark and Grave were sitting on some chairs, waiting.
Maria gasped, "What are you people doing here?"
Sark shot Maria a creepy stare, "Just buying clothes."
Maria almost fainted, "Clothes huh?"
"I like your scarfs!" complimented Grave as he weakly smiled because he totally dislikes the fact that he has to stay in the shop, instead of enjoying himself.
Maria blushed and whispered, "Thanks."
"So.. Maria aren't we going to buy clothes?" asked Zarla as she pulled on Maria's sleeve.
"Umm yeah.." Maria looked around the shop for assistance.
A young woman came over and greeted them, "Hello, how may I help you?"
"We would like to buy some clothes," smiled Zarla, "We don't need dress and such, but we do need pants."
Grave hopped over to the girls, "Actually there do need dresses!"
"Yeah, they do.." Sark walked, cooly over there, "Two Victorian styled dresses for these girls."
Zarla blushed, "Why do we need dresses??"
"To look pretty!" joked Grave.
"Grave... It's time for you to be fitted.." a little woman smiled as she held a needle.
Grave gasped, "AH!" Grave was dragged away to the dressing room.
"So..?" pondered Zarla as she stared at Sark's ruggedness.
"Yeah so go and dress and look pretty.. I have to drag the other crew members in." Sark left the store.
"I hope he's paying this," smiled Maria as she picked a very expensive dress style.
---Night time---
Maria and Zarla were hanging out at the pub. Sark, Grave, and Krissy as their table. "Hey Maria," greeted Grave as he sat down next to Maria.
Maria blushed, "Haa..Hi.. Grave."
"So how is everyone?! I believe I haven't truly introduced myself~ I am Princess Krissy of Lotus! And the fiancee of Sark!" she grabbed onto Sark's arm, "So, Maria how's life. Zarla and Maria got angry at her actions.
"I'm okay, but you better watch your mouth."
"Hey! I thought we were friends?" Krissy shoot Maria a innocent look.
"Whatever, I'm going to go hunting for mermaids, let's go Zar," Maria got up and pulled Zarla out of her chair. They walked outside, into the woods.
"Maria? What's wrong?" Zarla sighed.
"I hate her! She always has been like this.. Even though we were friends.. I pitied her, so that why.." Maria had tears coming out of her eyes, "She even stole Nathaniel for a while! Now she's stealing Sark from you!"
"Ugh.. She makes me so sick! Even Sark!! How can he do this? She's totally using him!"
"I know right!" Maria stopped frozen, "Come on Zarla, we don't know where we're going, so let's go back and go sleep. I'm very tired."
"Okay," sighed Zarla.
--Morning--
Maria shook Zarla awake, "Zarla!! That idiot! They are having their wedding today!!" scream Maria.
Zarla opened her eyes, "WHAT!" Zarla and Maria quickly dressed and ran downstairs, "What the heck Sark!?" yelled Zarla as she faced him and the crew.
"Hmm?" hummed Sark as he smoked his red pipe.
"YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED TODAY?" she roared.
"Wow.. Why are you getting so mad? Are you jealous?" grinned Krissy.
"NO!"
"Seriously, this is totally out of the blue," Maria said, sternly.
"Look, he's the captain, and you're the crew.. He can do whatever he wants!" responded Krissy as she got up from her chair to where Maria was standing, "You stooped so low, Maria-kins..." Krissy slapped Maria.
Grave got up from his chair and ran to grab Krissy's arm, "That's enough!"
"Shut up."
Maria looked so dark and gloomy, that her hair turned black, "Now you've done it!" yelled Maria as she pulled out her gun and put it facing Krissy's head.
"Maria!" gasped Zarla as she pulled Maria's gun away, "Don't be so rash!"
"I'm not! She should've been dead a long time ago!" screamed Maria as she tried to pull the gun away.
"ARG!"
"Stop it now!" ordered Krissy, "I am your master now, since Sark has retired."
"Retired?" gasped the whole crew.
"Yup it's true, since we're getting married.. Why not?" puffed Sark.
Zarla blankly stared at Sark, "I can't believe it" Zarla pulled Maria and ran out the door.
"Well, at least the trash has been thrown out.." smiled Krissy, "alright crew, if you don't want to be killed, then listen to me.."
--
Zarla and Maria just ran into the woods. "Zar.. Where are we?" gasped Maria, as her hair turned back to normal.
"I don't know.. I just want to leave! and go home," cried Zarla.
Maria groaned and cried at the fact she was slapped, and the fact that Zarla was crying made her sad because Zarla had always been the strong one, "I understand."
Zarla quickly stopped at a cove, "Let's rest here.." Zarla sat on a boulder, while Maria laid on the ground.
"Zarla..." sniffed Maria, "I feel stupid.. We should've.. I don't know.."
"It's not your fault.." Suddenly there was a splash in the water, a tail of a fish? "What the?" yelled Zarla, tiredly.
"Ummm.. Hi.." greeted a mermaid, who swam to the shore, "You two seem very tired... Did something happen?"
"Yeah.. We uh.."
"I know.. Don't worry... I can read your minds.." smiled the mermaid, "Please rest."
"Uhh okay.."
--Night--
Zarla woke up to the aroma of roasted snakes. "Who are you?" Zarla said, as she tried to fully wake up.
"I'm Lilian the mermaid. I can read your thoughts, so don't bother to use to much energy to speak. Maria was wake as well.
Zarla nodded, "This snakes smell good."
"Thank you," Lilian handed roasted snakes to Zarla and Maria, "Are you going to go back?"
"Maybe, but we made a fool of ourselves," Maria said with a mouth full.
"I bet that it'll be fine. You love them because you know that they'll understand. You know each other for some time, so there is some understanding. Do you know where the wedding will be?" Zarla shook her head. "I bet it's at the Orca Hall. It's the most beautiful place, but never has anyone dared to go and get married there. It's just too scary," Lilian paused, "The legend has it that a young boy fished up an injured mermaid. The mermaid was beautiful, yet the boy was just common. She just fell in love with him, but the only thing that made her annoyed was that she could not tell him her real name because if a mermaid told her real name to a human, then she will turn into bubbles. If a human could figure out her name, then that would be okay. Alas, he never figured her name, plus she was taken away to the palace of this city. The king of the city wanted to give her away as a present for the neighboring prince. He was handsome and complimented her, but she refused him. Her refusals did not let him down, but made him want her more. She forced to marry him at Orca Hall. She was still in love with that fisher boy, yet he never came to stop the wedding. So, midway of the wedding, she killed herself by telling the prince her real name. She turned into bubbles, which made Orca Hall stunning and sad at the same time. This beauty of this hall is unnatural, as if her presence is looking through you."
"Is Lilian your real name?" mused Zarla.
"Of course not! I understand that both of you are not exactly human, but I want to get used to of this name. It's my first time being out here, instead of living down there." Lilian took a deep breath, "You should go now." Maria and Zarla nodded and left the mermaid.
"Zarla? Shouldn't we get the dresses from the shop?"
"I guess it can be like a disguise. Krissy didn't really see us wearing them. All she saw was us being ew."
"Yup!" Although it was night time, the shop was open. When they entered the shop, they were greeted by the same young woman on the other day.
"Are you ladies picking up the dresses?" smiled the woman.
"Yup!" chirped Maria.
"Good! It has been paid for already," the woman handed them the two dresses.
Zarla was puzzled, "Who paid for it?"
"Oh that captain of yours. He just came in an hour ago. He was paying for all the other dresses. You know he's marrying in Orca Hall in an hour.
"Thanks for the information." Zarla and Maria began to change for the wedding.
Maria was putting on her shoes, "Do I look like someone else?"
"Kind of. What about me?" Zarla was doing her hair.
"A little bit like someone else. Why don't we just change our hair colors?"
"How do you do that?"
"There's a little shop of potions next to this one, and I bought some hair dye, when you were fitting into the clothes," Maria pulled out two bottles of hair dye.
"Oo! Smart!" Zarla helped Maria with the hair dye, which turned Maria's silver hair into dark purple. After that, Maria helped with Zarla's hair dye, which turned her hair to olive green.
"Wow! We look so cool!" commented Maria, happily.
"I look so different!" Zarla looked at the mirror, "Well, let's go crash the wedding!"
"Yeah!" Zarla and Maria headed for Orca Hall. When they arrived, they noticed that all the guest are actually wearing female clothing, even the guys.
"What's with this place?" wondered Zarla.
"Probably some weird thing that Krissy doing!"
"Yup," Zarla stared at an albino peabird, who scurried away.
"What should we do?" mused Maria.
"We should do this," Zarla whispered a plan into Maria's eye.

--THE WEDDING--
The priest was wearing a dress, "Do you take this man as your husband?"
Krissy smiled and nodded, "I do!"
Maria threw cake at Krissy, "We object!"
Zarla was holding a gun and all, "What is this madness?"
Suddenly a voice behind them spoke, "Heh. It seems that I'm not the only one who wants this marriage to be declined," it was a young man.
"Who are you?" whispered Zarla.
"I? I am the great Kraken! Please let my wife be!"
Sark smiled, "You can have her, but one condition, tell me where my father is!" Sark held a dagger to her throat.
"Heh. Old Shark's son, eh? You grown up so much. You look like your father!"
"Answer the question!"
"He's still alive and sound. He lives on the other side of the world. You better hurry..." The Kraken vanished with a black mist with Krissy.
"The other side of the world?" whispered Sark.
Zarla and Maria were puzzled, "What?"
"It's nice of you to care about me, but please I do have tricks under my sleeves," stepped over to Zarla and hugged her, "You know why would I do such a thing? Marry a ridiculous woman?"
Zarla blushed, "Oh really?"
"I bought a ticket for you to go back home, so you can full fill that promise with Jacob. If you feel like it, send me this bird, so I can come and pick you up!" Sark held up a parrot.
Zarla nodded and took the ticket and the parrot and hugged Maria, "I'll never forget you!"
Maria cried, "I know! I won't forget you either!"
"Well bye everyone!" Zarla waved to everyone and ran to get on the boat..
--
Three months later, Zarla arrives at her hometown with a big bag of letters to send to Sark and the others. Zarla gazes at her old town and everything seems that have not changed at all. Zarla quickly stopped by at the post office and sent the letters away. She greeted the people there, who remember her. She saw new faces of newcomers and children that were born after she left. She strolled to the promised meeting place, which was the blooming valley, but it seemed that no one was there. However, Zarla seemed to stumbled upon a young handsome man wearing a white suit with a white hat, "Ah!" Zarla fell on top of the man, "Oh, I'm so sorry! I'm just looking for a friend that we promised to meet here, when I get back from my journey.." Zarla glanced at the man, who seemed familiar, "Jaco? Is that you?" Zarla held up his cheeks, "You look incredible!"
Jacob smiled, "I just grew up a bit, but you, you smell.. ew..."
Zarla chuckled, "Well, I was on a pirate ship for a long time and I just came here after I stopped by the post office!"
"No wonder!" teased Jacob, "Let's go home and dress and eat?"
Zarla nodded and followed Jacob home. They were catching up on their lives.

--Next day--
Zarla was wearing a pink summer dress, "What a beautiful day?"
"Why yes it is! After you left, there is always nice weather!"
Zarla gave a friendly punch to Jacob, "Oh you!"
Jacob laid down in the valley, "I always waited for you here."
Zarla sat down next to him, "Really?"
"I always waited. I saw how the flowers grew and grew and bloomed. Maybe I'm crazy, but I named them all! See here? That's Macy, Janice, and Sally."
Zarla giggled, "You are mad!"
"I met someone, Zarla. You wouldn't believe who!"
Zarla sweated and blankly said, "Who?"
"Well, I guess you can't say that I met her. I knew her when we were kids, even thought she shunned me. Lucy.. Lucy came to the valley one day and laid beside me and we kissed."
"Really?" Zarla's mind was twisting and her insides were getting chilly.
"It's funny how we met because of her. I was getting beat up, while you saved the day. Pretty lame how a guy older than you could get beat up like that, but I'm stronger than yesterday. By the way, how's Sark?"
"Oh he's fine. How's Shu?"
"Fat as always," chuckled Jacob, "He's engaged to someone, but I bet she doesn't want him. She's a good looker too."
"Who is this maiden?"
"Ela, Sark's little sister, who has been ill."
"Ela!? No way! That's sickening!" yelled Zarla, "Why would?"
"Apparently, Ela's mother passed away and the uncle is selling her."
"Well I must buy her, then!"
"Why? Why are you dedicated?"
"Because, Ela is Sark's sister, therefore my friend and a person who I am indebted to."
Jacob sighed, "You always being the hero. There's nothing wrong with that, but I'm afraid that you'll get hurt."
"The one's that get hurt are the one's that I can't do anything for!" Zarla stood up with anger and rush away to Sark's house.

--Sark's house--
Zarla knocked on the door of the shack, "Ela?"
"Who is it?" coughed Ela, who was in rags.
"You don't know me, but I'm Sark's friend, Zarla."
Ela opened the door, "Oh Zarla?" Ela cracked a smile, "Sark always talked about you in his letters."
"Really?"
"Yes, please come in," sighed Ela.
Zarla came into the shack and sat down, "So you were sold?"
"Yeah.."
"I was thinking that maybe I can buy your freedom?"
"Zarla... don't go and waste your money on someone like me."
"No! no.. Sark is my friend, so I should help him out!"
"Well okay."
Zarla stood up, "How much did he buy you for?"
"A thousand."
Zarla smirked, "I have more than that!" Zarla ran out the door to Shu's house.

At Shu's House.
Zarla knocked on the door, "SHU!!!!!!!!"
Shu answered the door, "Only one person would yell at me like that, Zarla?"
"Shu! Why are you buying Ela?"
"Isn't that want everyone does, when they're in love?"
"Of course no! I'm going to counter your offer!"
"Eh?"
"You heard me! I am going to counter your offer! I am going to pay twice as you are going to bid!"
"Okay? We don't I just drop the bid?"
"Fine with me!" Zarla ran away to the auction house.

Auction House-
"Mr. Miller! I want to bid!" Zarla huffed.
Mr. Miller looked at Zarla, "Bid what?"
"I want to buy Ela!"
Mr. Miller chuckled, "Oh okay!"
"Here's two thousand?! Wait. What's the buy now price?"
"Two thousand?"
"Then I win!" Zarla threw money at Mr. Miller and ran to Sark's house.

Sark's house-
"I did it! I got your freedom, Ela! You want to move to a better place?"
Ela smiled weakly, "Okay?"
"I think you should move to the valley! It's beautiful and clean! Maybe you'll get better?"
Ela nodded.
"I'm going to build you a house!" Zarla ran away to Jacob's house.

Jacob's house-
Zarla coughed, "I did so much! Egh! I need to go build Ela a house in the valley, are you going to help me?"
Jacob nodded, "Sure!"
Zarla smiled.

One month later.
"I can't believe we finished the house!" smiled Zarla, who wiped some sweat from her forehead.
"I know. Did you know that Shu is researching about frog poison? He's trying to find a cure for Ela.. He really has a crush on her."
"Too bad that's a one sided love."
"Yeah. I'm thinking of working at the lab. Do you want to do it too? Lucy is doing it too."
"Nah, I'll be at the valley and take care of Ela for awhile."
"I see... The research lab is up there on that cliff, so holler if need us.."
"I think you should holler.."

--Three months later--
The frog poison got into the main stream water ways and poisoned many of the people, who drank it and turning them into somewhat of a zombie. Zarla and Ela were not affected because they lived in the valley and boiled their water...
