The little girl asks,
"Life...is it really that wonderful? Why does everything that makes me happy goes away or breaks my heart?"
Old man: Because that is life, a pain in the a**. Live with it and seize the day.
Little girl: Why did my pet die?
Old man: Because all living things must end one way or another.
Little girl: Why do people go to war?
Old man: Because the president wants to protect his a**.
Little girl: Why you still love grandma when she's dead?
Old man: Because she was the one.
Little girl: But did't you say things don't last forever?
Old man: My love for her will never end.
Little girl: Why is so hard when you hurt a friend?
Old man: Because you really care about them.
Little girl: Why do I always think of my friends' happiness or anybody else before me?
Old man: Because you're too kind.
Little girl: Is that bad?
Old man: No. But people can take advantage of you.
Little girl: What if I don't care?
Old man: Then let them.
Little girl: I like something.
Old man: That's good.
Little girl: But I can't have it.
Old man: That's sad.
Little girl: Is very hard to get.
Old mna: oh?
Little girl: My best friend got it before me. She found it in a mall.
Old man: Then get it.
Little girl: I can't. It was limited edition.
Old man: That sucks. Do you think she can let you borrow it?
Little girl: No. Is only for her.
(6 months later)
Old man: How are you?
Little girl: Sad.
Old man: Why?
Little girl: Natasha doesn't like it anymore. I think it is broken.
Old man: Oh. Can you fix it?
Little girl: I'm not the best worker for it. Still, I want it really bad.
Old man: You can try.
Little girl: Why if she doesn't want anybody to have it even if she doesn't want it anymore?
Old man: Then tell her your happiness is important too.
Little girl: But what about her?
Old man: If she really is your friend, I'm sure she will understand.
Little girl: I don't want to hurt her.
Old man: But right now, you're hurting yourself.
Little girl: Because I care a lot about my friends.
Old man: Still, you only think they should be the only ones to have happiness.
(The girl took the advice of the old man and went out to find it. She fixed it and lived happily ever after. The End)

But this is not that kind of story. The little girl is torn about what to do. Forget she wants but can't. Too hard. She really wants it. She wants it so bad. She remembers the first time she saw it at the mall in the store, how happy she was and even if Natasha got it first, she was still happy, suffering but happy that someone at least got it even if it wasn't her. Now I ask you...have you ever got something like IT that you want but can't have because you could hurt someone you love or betray someone you really care about or because it is agaisnt the law of life, because you feel it is wrong in a way even if that IT could make you happy even if is just for a while?
Remember IT could be anything. A dream, a toy, a person, a pet, anything you desire. Feel what the little girl is feeling.
P.S. I'll miss you Mon Cherie(Hamster Died Today)
