Ok if you couldn't already guess from the subject I'm going to talk about the anime 11eyes. Now if you're wondering why I'm not going with mainstream stuff, there are several reasons. First of all everyone goes for the mainstream. In case some of you didn't know, there's more to anime than the stuff on adult swim and on demand. Second I'm trying to go in alphabetical order in which I've seen these shows and give my opinions on them, so hold on to your knickers I'm getting to it. And third some of the mainstream shows I've actually never seen so if you don't see your favorites here then I suggest telling me about them I may check it out when I get a chance to or you do it yourself.
Anyways, 11eyes, it was originally an adult visual novel developed by Lass and then made into a manga and anime. Because it was originally an adult visual novel, I'd be careful those of you under the age of 18 if you wanted to read it. Actually no, that goes the same for the anime as well because at first there was a scene that looked like sex, then a scene that was PG-13 and a half sex. You know that kind of scene that you know they're doin it but it's not out right doin it... it's not graphic that's what I'm gettin at.
The manga was written by lass as well and the anime was directed by Masami Shimoda. The plot of this anime is that it starts off being about the life of main characters Satsuki Kakeru and Minase Yuka, and you learn a few things about them as well. Then within the same first episode things change when the two teleport to, what they call in the anime, the Red Night where everything looks almost exactly like the world they came from except it seems to always be night time but the sky and moon are red. This teleportation happens at random and they later find out that they aren't the only ones who get pulled there and they each have a certain power they can use in this realm. You also slowly learn about this witch locked up in a crystal prison as well for reasons you learn as the show progresses on.
When I first encountered 11eyes I was in the middle of trying to find an anime to watch. I won't lie I thought it to be pretty good, even as I came to strongly dislike Kusakabe Misuzu. She always got in the way of the 2 main characters love for each other, for me it was Shuffle! all over again (which I did not like but that's another story). One thing for sure I did not expect the love making, that's usually not my style. Unfortunately I'd usually complain that it wasn't necessary but in this case it kinda was. Oh yeah and there was this whole thing with different time paradox's and towards the end, unless I'm not as sharp as I think I am, got kinda confusing but I was able to suspend my disbelief for the duration of the show. Final thing, I'm at a loss for words in regards to the ending... I won't say what happened because that too isn't my style, but I can't even explain my thoughts on it without ruining it for some.

I usually watch at least two episodes to see if I like it but you're not me ^^* Oh! One last thing, stay away and I mean stay away from the OVA if you value the show in anyway.
