I've never really understood why couples have their little love songs. It's something cutesy and cheesy, and though I love cheesy, I would probably not have a song. The reason is because I love music, and if I loved a song and chose to make it one to signify my relationship with someone, and we happened to not last, then that song would leave bad memories. I consider myself independent enough, but even I wouldn't help but feel depressed at that point.
Sadly enough, the song that came on whilst I was typing was "How Do You Love Someone" by Ashley Tisdale. Kinda sad.
Even so, I actually like the idea of having a song. It would be awesome if I could have my way and make it Taylor Swift's 'Our Song' considering that is exactly what it's about. Of course, how many hundreds of other couples picked that song also? I'd probably never be able to be entertained with a Justin Bieber song either...so what does that leave? Well, it'd have to be a song that the two of us would know. There aren't many. There is one I do like though. It's by Powderfinger, which has become a reoccurring theme in my 'love life' postings. This song is called "Burn Your Name"
I want every single soul to know
That I love you for what you are
So I sound the bells that praise your precious heart
