The Overlord's Journal
Alright, this is my journal. Diary just sounds weird, so journal it is. I'll write about whatever I want and such, and I really don't care if you read it or not. If you want to take a looksee, go ahead.
Entry Sixty-Three
So, as of this previous Monday my Christmas Break has ended. It was a good break, I think. It was nice to see all of my friends back at school though. That's the only time that I really see most of them. There's up to four or five that I could possibly see or visit outside of the school, maybe six if I count a few more people. But despite those, I really do like school. This semester Psychology makes up for the Mythology class I had last one. I already took AP Psych last year, why this one again? D= Oh well, I kind of like the teacher, and plus it'll be an easy A.

And now I wonder what I should write about. I'd much rather that this entry not be too short and not filled up with filler so I should choose a subject quickly.

Right. I finished a book by one of my favorite authors today. It was sad, and I wish it could have been different. But I agree with the his words on the page before the story really starts. Salvatore said that he'd once had to go to a dark park in one of his books. He disliked it but considers the book a wonderful piece of his. However it was necessary, perhaps demanded of, for him to return to it for the sake of the characters. It made me rethink about my character's deaths that I know may have to come at some point, or not, for their story to be concluded in some way. Writing is my passion. =3

Also, I noticed a sort of connection between two of my three favorite authors, and possibly me. Salvatore discovered Tolkien's Lord of the Rings and changed his major in college from computer sciences to journalism when he was a sophomore. The page that I mentioned in this book, the one before the story, also says that he found the works during a blizzard in 1978. Tolkien has always been my favorite among the other two, and Salvatore was one before I even knew he loved Tolkien as well. Also, I was born between two blizzards, one on the 2nd of February and the other on the 4th. So, connection? Maybe. I like to think so. =3

'What a pity that Bilbo did not stab that vile creature, when he had a chance!'

'Pity? It was Pity that stayed his hand. Pity and Mercy: not to strike without need.'
