Afraid of the night,
Afraid of the light,
Afraid of the fright,
I get in the night.
I feel your arms around me so tight.
I see your eyes,
Twinkle in the night.
Oh how I wish they were my light.
The one I choose for tomorrow,
That will help uplift my sorrow.
Then by dawn tomorrow,
I'm ready to fight,
The fright I get in the night!
