We hear about the soldiers that die for our rights but how about the citizens that are dieing right here at home fighting for their rights? In our society it seems like the citizens are scared of homosexuals. Instead of being scared of them just accept them for who they are and give them their rights to. It seems weird we are fighting over the factor of who is considered a human and who is not considered a human being in the world. I guess I am not a human being because I am a Lesbian. My older brother is not a human being because he is Gay. A friend of our is not a human being because he is Bi-Sexual, and another who lives in this city is not a human being because he is a Transgender. Even though we look like we are human being we are made to feel like we are not and that we are not worth anything. Everyday we are cut down and belittled. I am proud to be a Lesbian, my brother is proud to be Gay, our friend is proud to be a Bi-Sexual, and the other that lives in town is proud to be a Trans-Gender. News flash we are still human. We are are still citizens. We are still paying taxes here.
