Wow, it has been a while since I have posted anything in here. Hmm, well, I suppose I can put up something new. The life of Lisa has changed dramatically since the last time I wrote anything. From what I can see, my last post consisted of my upcoming wedding. Well, it's been over a year since then and my world has only gotten better. Being someone's wife wasn't nearly as big a deal as I thought it would be. Things are pretty much the same as when we were just dating, except now I have a different last name. biggrin I love being his wife, and I love having him for my husband. heart
Aside from becoming someone's wife, the last year has given me something new to enjoy in my life. Her name is Amelia Marie and she is the sweetest, cutest, most adorable little girl in the world. Yes, I have become someone's mommy! She was born on October fifth of last year, and was 8 lbs 1 oz and 21 inches long! I honestly can't compare my love for her to anything else I have felt. Granted, she insists upon being glued to me nearly every moment of the day, but it's worth it to see her sweet smiling face looking up at me. She is over a year old now, and turning into quite the energetic toddler. She runs all over the place and has a constantly growing vocabulary. So far, she knows where her nose, eyes, and ears are and she can say, "What's that?" "Where did you go?" "Star" "Mom" "Dada" "Meow" "Let's go" and "That". Small in comparison to what your average adult can say, but absolutely fascinating to this mommy. It still feels like just yesterday she was this tiny little thing that couldn't do anything more than smile at me. Gah, I love her so much!!
Enough about me, though, let's get on to why you are really here. The life of Ristar has kind of died off. She hasn't found anything lately to keep her attention, other than the random interaction with her friends. She has remembered Wolf, thanks to an interlude between them that Damion and I never finished. Of course, she isn't happy about remembering him. Part of her still longs for what they shared, even though she knows it will never happen again. Instead, she torments herself with being around places that remind her of him. Lately, it's been the Black Halo. Dreamer has it out for her, and the interaction with the other woman gives Ri a dark thrill that reminds her of being with Wolf. The girl is a glutton for punishment, or so it seems. *Grins*
