Of all the things I've observed over the years, this particular object stands out to me. A car, abandoned, overturned, riddled with bullet holes, partially buried in the ground, most-likely a 1940's model. It's extremely weathered, but seems to be a light-blue, matte color. My family and I found it in a ravine off an obscure path in a forest. I wasn't going to mention the name of the forest, but I've changed my mind. It is called Nisene Marks.
We've taken this path many times, but when we discussed this 'mystery' car with other people they claim to have never seen it. This forest is well known where I live, so I find it odd that no one has seen it or reported it. We still haven't reported it after all this time. I'd say it's been at least 13 years since I've been there. I wonder if anyone else found it.
We were always too afraid to go down there and see if there were any remains in the car. Part of me regrets not looking. I would love to know the origin of this car, the people who drove it, the circumstances that led them into that forest, and of course, why were there bullet holes in the car? One can only guess what the fate was of the occupants of that vehicle. The fact that the car was upside-down in that ravine would suggest that the car wasn't simply abandoned, and the bullet holes would suggest a gruesome fate.
I don't know my way around that forest, so I doubt I could find that car again by myself, especially since it's been over a decade since I've been to that forest. I guess I'll never know what happened, but that car I observed will forever be engraved into my memories.
