I was informed a couple hours ago that you are no longer amongst us.
That you had moved on to the next life.
I cried remembering everything you ever told me.
That I needed to take care of my kids and of my parents.
That I needed to keep my head up in times of turmoil.
I'll miss you like you have no idea.
I'll miss the way we'd start to sing with each other.
I'll miss the way you would tell me that you love me.
But what I'll miss the most is how you would call me
the nickname you gave me. The queen of a thousand crowns.
To me, you have always been and always will be the king,
