Honestly, I really like the Jet the Galactic Kittenstar set they put out recently.
I really DON'T like the price.
I looked at it a long time, and then I thought of everything else I could do with $20 (ok, $19.99, but who's counting?). Things I'd like to wear, or eat, or make crafts out of (not all the same things). Things that would make life easier. Or happier. Or more colorful.
Things I can keep.
Sure, I'll look on the MP, see what I can find, because platinum is cheap. But if I don't find anything, it's not going to affect how I sleep at night.
I don't know how long Gaia's going to keep limping along. As far as I can tell, all of their side hustles to make more cash haven't worked out very well, and I don't know how many more rounds of venture capital/funding they're going to be able to procure. No, I don't have any inside information. Just a gut feel.
This is why I'm still debating if I'm going to start reindexing the inventory organization project. I've seen how fast things can change, and while I don't regret any of the time that I've spent on the project so far, I'm not sure how much more I want to put into it.
That's kind of how I feel about Gaia overall. No regrets on the time I've spent, I'm still enjoying the few things I do when I do them, but I don't know if there's anything more I want to put into this site.
The only reason I would even consider giving Gaia any more real world money at all would be if it would speed up the review of the banning of Pesty Elf and Nidorous. It's been well over a year and to the best of my knowledge, neither has heard officially about WHY they were banned, let alone mount a defense, assuming one is necessary (Which I don't believe for one minute. This is a mistake or a vendetta, which would fit right in with why Gaia wouldn't care about how long it took. They'd lose face if they admit they made a mistake.)
But until then, I have more than enough Gaia toys to play with. The new ones are attractive, but they most certainly are not necessary.
