Hello hello, it is me finally. I figured since I have some free time seeing as how the GUILDS aren't working.... stare ....I'd update you all on things.
Xmas was alright. After our wonderful snow storm/blizzard we drove the 2 hrs north to be with our families and we made it there just fine. The intown driving was a mess because the stupid city always waits till the last minute to plow or do anything, but besides that things were ok. Xmas day itself was....interesting.....to say the least. The day started out ok. We were all in good spirits ready to get into our booty and see what the fat man had given us wink
Things were going ok util it happened......Now, before I get into what "it" was let me give you some back story. My mom has a very bad habit of treating her husbands/bfs strangely. Once they're officially together she has these "psycho" episodes. To put it another way and give you an example if her man even looks at a woman she goes nuts and starts a fight. If they're watching tv and a semi pretty woman/half dressed woman is on my mom will turn the channel or turn the tv off all together. She's a looney sometimes!!!
But I digress.....Things were going well till my 18 yr old sister got a shirt from our gram that she thought looked a little small. So she left the room to try it on and returned to see what gram thought. My stepdad just happened to look up at her to see what was going on and immediatly looked back down. Well, as soon as my sister left the room to change my mom made a very rude comment to him about "hoped you liked the view, since you think she's better looking" or something along those lines. Now he's learned how she gets and instead of starting an arguement he left the room and went upstairs while my mom is calling him an a*****e.
Needless to say he stayed up there almost the rest of the day, missing lunch with us and everything. Meanwhile through most of the meal we're all asking what happened and where he was at (we didn't learn what happened till later) and she was saying all kinds of crap making sure we got her side of the story before his see. My mom's like that. So the meal and the rest of the day just weren't as great for me at least. Every holiday something happens, whether it's an arguement or my mom and others are picking on my gram about her weight and hearing problem which sometimes makes her cry sad
The rest of our time there was ok. The next day things between them were better and they seemed to be getting along. I just don't get it. My mom must have some real issues since she's done stuff like this as far back as I can remember.....My family is just nutty xp
So next comes new years. As far as I know Andys mom is picking up Caitlin on thursday to keep her for the weekend. Out of the now 4 yrs Andy and I have been together we have yet to spend one together, alone.
Listen to this.....
Year 1: Spent apart since he "already made plans". He got very wasted and I sat with a friend of mine somewhat bored.
Year 2: I was prego at the time so I couldn't drink and really get into the holiday spirit. So he left me home alone and spent it with the same wonderful friend he spent the 1st year with and got trashed again. (this friend drinks like a fish)
Year 3: We were all back home and spent it with Andys mom, sister and Jimmy (6 yr old she watches from time to time and considers family).
So here we are to this year. Andys mom and Jimmy are coming to pick caitlin up and take her back to her place for the weekend to give us some alone time and caitlin will have someone to play with (she just loves jimmy to death). We have no idea what we're doing yet, all we know is we'll have time to ourselves.....Should prove to be interesting....We'll see I guess. I'll let you guys know how things go after the fact.
There you have it. The wrap up of my holiday weekend and upcoming weekend. I certainly hope everyone else had a nicer one than I did and will have even more fun over the new year. Take care all and I'll be back soon with another installment.
