Shiori walked over to the Raven tree. She had heard people talking about this tree at the school. The many mysteries surrounding it. Natsu had stayed back at the school, she was tired for they had prepared the rest of the Christine from Crystal Moon Lake last night.
Shiori wanted to know what the truth was. She walked up to the tree. Her mind pushing into the trunk as she touched it. Weaving through all the memories and hardships. She was able to understand. From the begining as a small sapling, to the present, it was all in the trunk. Lying untold to this generation.
Smiling she sat beneath the tree. No one was around. The leaves blew in tune with the wind. And the song of the meadows was unleashed. You could hear the frogs in the distance at the lake chirping their part to the song, the crickets trying to tune in with the frogs, the wind and the leaves taking the main melody as the birds sung the harmony.
It was a perfect day. The sun was shining from high in the sky, the clouds drifting past lazily with the wind carrying them to unknown places. This place, it was just like back home. Everything about it reminded her. She was at peace.
An hour passed and she rose from her spot. She would return anotherday. Until then she would check out Mitheral Beach.
A day on the town. She was wondering when she would get to leave the school grounds to go to a town. Natsu was running all over the place looking for a place to lie down on the warm sand.
Shiori smiled, picked her up, and placed her on her head.
"Not here. Wait until we go to the beach lator on," Shiori said as they walked past the McDonalds.
Looking around, there were so many people, and so much to do! It was making her head spin. She decided to just walk around town to get the feel for it, and come back anotherday to do something.
After walking the town, she headed back towards the school. Stopping only to order a number 2 from McDonalds.
They then headed towards the beach. Everyone seemed so happy, smiling and laughing. Couples lined the beach as far as the eye could see.
Shiori set Natsu down. Right away she made a nest, and layed down. Shiori laughed.
"You really like this warm sand don't you?" Shiori laughed.
Indeed I do! It's so warm. And soft. And... Natsu had fallen asleep, and Shiori was laughing.
They stayed here for a few hours befor returning to her dorm. A wonderful day.
