What you see before you is a "pretty" face
But look down deep beneath this shell
There is more than what meets the eye
Constant pain that no one knows
With terrors one can only imagine
Always woundering "Is this the end"
Day by day hour by hour
You wait for something to happen
But when it does you can never stop it
Even with the help of another
The pain never leaves
It's always there just waiting
To surface once more, to catch you off guard
All you can do is pray and hope
Never stop trying, to find a way
To deal with it for it would take forever
To be rid of it
To be some what, what you once were
Is to make a terrible mistake
Yet to be so much more than what you were
Would be your greatest accomplishment
Never give up and never give in
For what you see on the surface
Is only skin deep
For what you truely seek
Is the pain that I feel deep inside
