Kana walked into her house just back from a walk. She hadn’t had sleep in a while. She couldn’t sleep. She had become an insomniac for now. Why, may you ask, is because she felt the love of her life (or whom she loved greatly) didn’t love her. Yes sad to become depressed over but she loved him deeply.

He visited her about 3 times a week but he hadn’t visited her in about a week and she took that as either he died, didn’t care to come, was being held from freedom for some reason, or didn’t ever want to see her again. She went for the worst ones like she always did.

Kana walked into the kitchen and started to make Ramen. She put in two packets and put on some tea. She didn’t eat much so she was just pretending that the two were going to come over so that she could ease her mind. No one could see that she wasn’t eating. She wore many different Kimonos that made her look different sizes so she just wore different Kimonos. This day she was wearing a light purple one.

Her hair was put up in its normal style. She had a ponytail high on her head and some hanging down from her face. Her hair was only about shoulder blade beginning length. It wasn’t that long. Her eyes were, while she was alone in her house, pools of depression but in front of everyone else she could change them to fake happy but no one could tell it was fake.

Kana stirred the ramen and turned off the tea. She stopped stirring the Ramen and poured the tea into two cups. It was green tea. She went back and stirred the ramen. Her doorbell rang she thought it was probably Itachi or someone like that. She stopped stirring the ramen and wiped her hands.

“I’m coming.” Kana called. She opened the door and in walked Deidara running towards the kitchen. She saw him smell the ramen and smile. She turned and saw Sasori. He walked in silently. He sat down on her couch.

“Kana, can I have some of this delicious ramen that you’re cooking once it’s done?” Deidara asked. Kana smiled a little and nodded. She walked into the kitchen and told Deidara to sit on the couch because the ramen was done and she had to fix it into bowls.

Deidara sat down on the couch and watched as Kana poured the ramen soup into two bowls. She carried the two bowls out with forks and spoons. She set them down along with napkins as well. She went back into the kitchen and brought out the tea. Deidara nearly drooled but held it in. He loved her cooking.

“Well you can eat it.” She said. Deidara dug in. Sasori just stared at it for a while and pushed it away from him. Kana held back her sorrow. She smiled at Sasori.

‘Do you not want it Sasori?” Kana asked.

“No, I don’t.” Sasori said with no emotion. Kana held back every bit of sorrow that she held. Kana was about to lift up the bowl when Deidara looked at her and then looked at his empty bowl.

“May I have his food?” Deidara asked. Kana smiled and nodded to Deidara. Deidara stole the bowl and ate the soup. Sasori took a small sip of his tea. He set it down and scooted it away form him. Kana held back a wistful sigh.

“May I have his tea as well kana? I mean I just love your food.” Deidara asked. Kana smiled a little and nodded her head towards him.

“Please excuse me. I must go to something in my room. I will be only a minute.” Kana said.

“You’re excused.” Deidara said and then continued eating. Kana smiled a little and calmly walked to her room. She shut the door silently and slid down it, letting the tears fall.

“He hates me, the food, and anything I give him. I shouldn’t have ever fallen for him but I did and I love him.” Kana cried quietly.

Outside of her room, Deidara had just finished everything she had given him. He sighed and then looked to her room. He looked to Sasori who seemed unconcerned. Deidara was worried. She had been in there for a while. Just as he thought this she came out with a smile on her face.

“I’m glad you’re back. I was becoming worried.” Deidara said. Kana smiled at him and sat down softly into the seat beside the couch. Deidara stared at her. He could tell something was wrong but he didn’t want to say anything.

“I’m going to go put those dishes up.” She said with a smile. She picked them all up and headed to the Kitchen. Deidara watched her. He watched as she slowly put the dishes into the sink after rinsing them off. Then he saw her stare at the wall and take deep breaths. It looked like she was trying to calm herself but he didn’t know.

Deidara got up and walked over to Kana. He tapped on her shoulder. She turned to him with a smiled and told him he shouldn’t worry about her.

“I’m fine Deidara.” She said. Deidara stared at her for a while longer and then sat down. Kana followed and sat down in the chair.

“So where have you been? I’ve missed your visits.” Kana said. This made Deidara smile.

“We had to fight some ninjas and such but nothing serious. We were held back but we’re here now. I just had to leave when I smelt your delicious ramen and green tea.” Deidara said. This made Kana smiled a little.

“Oh Deidara, my food isn’t that great.” Kana said.

“Oh but it is Kana. Don’t you agree Sasori?” Deidara asked looking over to him. Sasori shrugged his shoulders but said nothing. Deidara sighed and turned back to Kana. He caught a glimpse of Kana’s sadness. He was scared for her.

“Kana do you think you could come with me for a minute in the Kitchen? I need to speak with you.” Deidara asked. Kana smiled at him and nodded her head. The both of them walked into the Kitchen.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Deidara asked. Kana smiled up at him and nodded.

“I’m fine Deidara. Whatever I’m dealing with you don’t need to worry yourself over. I’ll be fine.” Kana said. This didn’t reassure Deidara at all.

“Well Okay Kana but if you are upset about anything you can tell me.” Deidara said. Kana smiled and nodded her head. They both walked out of the kitchen and sat down.

“How long do you guys get to stay this time?” kana asked.

“They let us have the week off. I was wondering if we could stay here.” Deidara asked. Kana nodded her head and smiled at him.

“Sure you can Deidara!” Kana smiled.

“You can as well Sasori.” Said with a smiled. Sasori didn’t respond.

“Well I’m full and it’s getting really late so do you think I could head to bed now?” Deidara asked. Kana nodded her head and walked him to her guest room. She helped him into bed and everything and shut off her lights. She shut the door and then started to do the dishes. She knew Sasori wasn’t going to say anything to her so she wasn’t even going to try.

Sasori got up and walked into the kitchen and just stood there watching Kana do the dishes. This was a little unnerving for Kana but she didn’t show it. She just kept washing the dishes. She then dried her hands and started to dry the dishes. All of a sudden she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around to See Sasori staring at her.

“Something is wrong Kana. I can feel it coming off of you. Tell me what it is.” Sasori said, still emotionless. Kana smiled at him.

“I’m fin-“She was cut off by his fingers.

“I don’t want to hear that lie. You can tell it to everyone but I won’t believe it. Now tell me what is wrong.” Sasori said, some anger held in his tone. Kana sighed and continued to dry the dishes.

“You shouldn’t worry about me. What I’m going through is something I just have to wait out. You needn’t worry.” Kana said. Sasori took the plate from her hand and set it down gently. He then turned her towards him by her shoulders. She stared into his eyes and they had emotions running through them.

‘I do need to worry about you. I can tell you haven’t eaten or slept since the last time we came here. Now Please…tell me what’s wrong.” Sasori’s voice got quieter at the end. Kana was surprised at his sudden burst of emotion. Kana stared down at the ground and she dropped the drying rag she was hold and shook a little.

Sasori made her look at him and she was crying. Her eyes were filled with complete pain. She shut them and looked away from him. She felt weak crying in front of him. She tried to calm her crying down but it wouldn’t work. Sasori slowly pulled her into a hug. Kana gasped, surprised at his show of emotion.

“Kana, I need to know. I need to know who hurt you so bad. Please tell me.” Sasori asked quietly.

“You did.” Kana whispered to him. Sasori pulled back, shocked and sad.

“What did I do to cause you so much pain Kana?” Sasori asked sadly. Kana looked down. She didn’t dare watch him as she told him.

“You took my heart and now my heart feels broken.” Kana said hoping he would understand what she meant. Sasori pulled Kana close to him. Kana sighed and laid her head on his chest. She knew she couldn’t leave his grasp so she just cried.

“It’s okay Kana. Don’t cry.” Sasori whispered. Kana just cried more.

“Why shouldn’t I?” Kana cried.

“The tears would be for nothing. You would be crying over nothing.” Sasori said. Kana just cried more.

“So my love for you is nothing?” Kana asked harshly.

“No, it’s everything. Kana you don’t realize but you took my heart as well and you’re breaking it with your tears.” Sasori said. Kana gasped and Hugged Sasori close. Sasori for the first time in his life smiled a real smile.

“Thank you Sasori.” Kana whispered, tear still falling from her eyes. Sasori ran his fingers through her hair while holding her close to him. Kana just cried more. She was so very happy.

“Please stop crying Kana. It pains me to hear your sorrow.” Sasori whispered. Kana laughed a little.

“I’m not crying because I’m sad Sasori. I’m crying because I’m happy.” Kana laughed while looking up at him. She could tell he was still getting used to emotions because he was giving her a confused look.

“Why would you cry if you’re happy? Wouldn’t you smile and laugh?” Sasori asked. He was confused.

“I’m am smiling and laughing but sometimes when people get overwhelmed with happiness the cry. It helps calm them down some.” Kana said. Sasori nodded his head.

“I see now.” Sasori said. He took one of his arms from around her and wiped away the tears on her face. Kana smiled at him and laid her head down on his chest.

“Please don’t cry over me.” Sasori whispered. Kana smiled a little.

“I won’t if you don’t break me.” Kana whispered back. Sasori smiled a little.

“I won’t break you.” Sasori whispered. Kana just snuggled closer to him.

“What is going on in here?” Deidara mumbled while rubbing his eyes. He had been woken up by all the commotion. Deidara stared at the two hugging and he smiled. Sasori just looked at him and smiled just a little bit. Deidara smiled and headed back to the bedroom to fall asleep.

“Sasori…” Kana started. Sasori looked down at her.

“Yeah, Kana?” Sasori asked.

“I think I’ll finish the dishes in the morning but right now I’m tired.” Kana said. Sasori could tell she was falling asleep against him. Sasori, gently and uncertain about his moves, lifted Kana up bridal style. Kana just snuggled closer to him, her arms wrapped around his neck.

Sasori walked to her bedroom and opened the door. Her room was quite big. It had a wardrobe and a dresser beside each other. She had a mirror on her wall and pictures of different things and people. He looked at her bed and it was in the corner of the room. Above it was a picture of him and Deidara. In the picture he looked emotionless and Deidara was waving at the camera with a smile.

Kana’s walls were the color dark blue. Her floor was carpet and it was white and spotless. Her bed had black silky sheets and a pillow case. Sasori carried Kana over there and set her down gently under her covers. Sasori was about to walk away form her bed but Kana stopped him. Sasori looked back at her.

“Where are you going?” Kana asked.

“I’m going to sleep on the couch. I mean you don’t have an extra bed in the guest room and I doubt…” Sasori trailed off. Kana smiled at him.

“You can sleep in this bed with me.” Kana smiled. Sasori blushed a little and then nodded his head. Kana hoped out of the bed and ran to her wardrobe and pulled out something that looked like a small white silky nightgown. Sasori was wondering what she was going to do with it. Kana walked out of the room and into the bathroom.

She came back after a minute and she was wearing the nightgown. It was a spaghetti strap nightgown. It cut off at mid thigh and had a small slit down the sides. It’s hem was light blue. Kana went and sat her clothes in a hamper. She turned to Sasori who was doing his best not to gape at her.

“Well what are you going to wear to bed Sasori? You surely can’t sleep in that.” Kana said. Sasori blushed and took off what he was wearing except for his black boxers. Kana blushed lightly and walked towards the bed. She climbed in under the covers and Sasori followed suit. Sasori pulled Kana close to him. Kana yawned lightly and then giggled when it made Sasori yawn a little too.

“Well goodnight Sasori. I love you.” Kana said. Sasori leaned down and kissed Kana’s lips. Kana gasped and kissed back.
