So, if any of you have been paying attention to my profile, you'd realize that I'm having a little "best of the month" RP post competition thing. Sadly, no one but me seems excited about this, sooo... I got no votes. XD Soo, since I, myself, couldn't decide which one I liked best, you're all winners this month (thus, no prizes for anyone.) Here's the posts once more:
Best for the month of December
Week 2-(Dec.10-16):
Lady Knives-- To Save a Kingdom created by: Geicen pg42 Knives had been watching the little ceremony in silence, her steath flawless as she gently slipped her way into the crowd. She then flitted(Transported) down into the center of the red carpet that was spread through the crowd where they split up to the balcony and the large wooden doors beneath. Dark eyes flashed as the King's attention was averted to the dark woman standing in the center of the isle.
The King's eyes widened a bit before narrowing. "What is your purpose here?" He spoke in a loud, strong voice; showing no fear. From the slits of her pupils he could tell right then that she wasn't human.
The young heiress drew up her right hand with what seemed a lazy demeanor, her eyes flashing black as a large sphere of blazing black appeared at the tip of her pointer finger. A quake shook the area for miles around, then stopped. A pulse made the earth tremor as the young woman's pale lips were tugged back in a crazed smile, her deathly sharp incisors grinding against eachother as she called out. "Welcome to Oblivion!"
"WELCOME TO YOUR LAST BREATH!" She boomed as the sphere above her pointer finger expanded, engulfing her and all the land around her for all the miles the miserable city reached.
Buildings and trees were uprooted, the white cemented streets and walkways were torn apart with ruthless power and thrown across the sky, causing more damage and chaos. Knives' black, pitless eyes widened with excitement as the city was torn to pieces and the bodies desinagrated, leaving nothing but the large broken down pieces of debris, the stench of death, and the ashes of thousands of bodies that once strived for life.
-FoxyKerri- -- The Devil's Inferno created by: Lance Orien, pg3 Natalia wasn't quick to calm down at anything- especially the prospect of having her life taken without care. That, she would never get over.
Her gaze moved onto the other woman in the area as she sat perched on a rock, an amused look upon her face. Cocking her head slightly, Natalia tried to figure out what the woman found so god damned amusing. She was encouraging Lyrion's attitude... she was actually encouraging his attitude! Unbelieveable!
Then, Lyrion spoke again. About how her life meant nothing, how he wouldn't have hesitated. This caused Natalia to speak up yet again. Her voice was a bit calmer now, but it still held a heavy tone of anger.
"If you're such an amazing killer, and you wouldn't have hesitated for a life so invaluable as my own, then why the hell am I still standing here? HMM?" She said, placing her hands on her hips judgementally. Either he was a liar, or full of himself with nothing to back up his claims...
Week 3- (Dec. 17-23):
x-Mayko-x -- Uknown School created by: Destroyer Dragon, page 13 Jenna was stunned as she was wrapped in Fla'qwes's arms, trying her best not to shatter his smile with tears, returning his hug as best she could before he let her go. Everything was happening too fast for her mind to comprehend, and, suddenly, Lance, the squad, and Fla'qwes were gone. The elements were goign wild, water was everywhere, earthquakes shaking the ground, wind whipping through the trees, and people were flaming like mad. The sky was a large yin and yang sign. Her mind was frozen on the sceen she had just viewed, Fla'qwes being publically beaten, and then being towed away like a prisoner of war.. 'Your pain is raging... stop... I told you i would make that pain go away, and I intend to keep it... with you or not." Fla'qwes's voice rang through her ears. Already, she'd do anything to hear it again. "YOU FOOL!" She screamed, running after Fla'qwes, only to trip and fall with a large splash on the water covered ground, 2 inches deep and steadily rising. She moved onto her knees, not having the will to stand up again. "You don't understand, do you?! You can't take it with you! Not like this..." Tears sprang into her eyes, though she wouldn't let them fall. Hanging her head, her short raven hair hid her distressed eyes, though just looking upon her defeated form told the whole story. "I do swear... There shall be a day when Lance and his scum-sucking wastes of flesh and air will regret the day their mothers chose not to drown them in the river. Azrael is screaming your names!" She shook with the knowledge, then sat still for a few minutes. Remember, Jenna... Fla'qwes is doing this for you-- for you all. Don't put his sacrifice in vain. She slowly rose from the ground, the water that she was just wallowing in twisting up into the sky and pouring down into a much stronger version of the power she'd used to heal Roy, this one concentrating on both healing wounds, and easing emotional pain, though it did little on herself. "Students, please return to your dorms. School will not be in session tomorrow." Her voice was nearly emotionless, but there was a familiar strictness present. Jennamye paused, a small nagging in the back of her mind, before she remembered Roy's question. She turned, and gave him a world-weary smile. "How do you imagine I am feeling? I've lost, Roy. again, I've lost. And, yet, I apparently have not failed." She laughed, the sound empty. "How... contradictory."
Week 4- (Dec 24-30):
Hunter of faith-- Streams of Silver Fire created by: x-Mayko-x, pg 1 From the blue summon circle incripted in figures within figures, which was that of a perfect, six sided star with a cross in the main interior. The light bursted in what seemed to be a nova in a holy sky blue color as a shining figure soon made it's way to the center, rising slowly from an unseen dimension. Gold peices seemed to float from the circles interior and came together like a jigsaw puzzle an soon the light began to take form. At first glance it could be mistaken as a celestial body, but in the end, it was a shined shadow resembling that of a knight. The light grew golder and stronger as it shone in what seemed to be god's hand. Soon the golden light began to peel off like dead skin from the figure's body, reaveling a knight in blue, armed with a silver armor that gleamed in what seemed to be ever lasting beauty. It was surprising to see that the knight, with such stature, was a woman with hair that was golden blond, like that of a lion's main, which was also bunned up. Two strong looking hands encircled a sacred looking sheathed blade in which the knight seemed to be holding...no... hugging close to her. As the light began to disapate, the knight was seen clearer. She did not move at the first moment and yet her complextion, her armor, her stature was a sight equal in beauty to that of the gates of heaven. All the rougish knights held their ground, unable to take their eyes at such a nobel sight. Suddenly the air around her blew in ever direction with imense force letting all around them to know that the summon of this almost sacred being had been completed. The blue summoning circle underneath the ground in which she stood started to dim out, losing it's icey blue color till all that was left was that pale brown color of the forest floor. Saber, the knight, slowly opened her eye lids and soon emeralds began to shine, each moment her eyes opened, her eyes shoned brighter, it was exactly like a sunrise as it slowly showed it beauty in the distant horizon. Soon her emeralds were widely seen, and her sight secured itself a place in this wrecthed world. Quickly her eyes befell on the knight holding Resi and in a swift, unseen motion, she put her shethed sword to her side, strapped it,and atlast drew it all in one motion. The enemy soldiers were so swept by her beauty, nobility, and skill that they had not payed attention to the situation at hand, that foretold them that this warrior was ready to move and strike down the person she had her eyes on...in this case the knight holding Resi. Her feet moved across the ground yet dispite all her armor, her foot work and agility was to be said as, 'unbelievable'. Her feet hit the ground hard, leaving indents, which was a common tactic to keep as much weight on your ground for endureing attacks and for a power boost, which worked in somthing like a spring motion. She swiftly sliced the range between her and her oppenent with her sword drawn and charging madly, yet her eyes never lost a tactical edge, "AHHHH" was her loud and proud battle cry, equal to that of a roar or the nobel lion. When she made her way to the knight she swung her sword with might and that sword impacted with such force that the wind ,only around the kngiht, seemed to be cut in half. The air surrounding the knight was said to be seen as moving cyrstal mirrors, reflecting, showing the rarely seen wind and it's beauty, which was quickly turned to brutality. The knight screamed in agony as his grip on Resi's arm was completely severed for with that one blow, Saber, had delt such a tremedous blow that it shut down the knight's enitre nervous system. The knight flew back, like a thrown rock, through a tree and smashing into another, the sound of newly crack bones echoed through the area. He layed there, eyes open wide with death, his complete chest area was severed and blood leaked like a waterfall of the highest montain till there was no blood left to fall. His rib cage, while able to be seen, were all misplaced and disfigured, his heart in half with his lungs cut by the force of the winds. Saber turned to Resi, with her intense stare not easing at the moment, but did the moment she suddenly fell to her knee, the dust around the place where she kneeled almost seperated at the sheer force of her landing. She stabbed her sword into the ground and ,with on hand on her sword and on the other hand resting on her knelt knee, she said in a hard tone even tone, "Servant Saber... paladin of old.... here as your sword. Thy swears to lay one's life for my master.... master Resi." her tone was serious, her head down, a sign of respect in the time of the knights of old. Though she bowed and was clearly a servant, her commanding presance never lost it's edge. A knight, who was trembling in terror at what he just saw, charged sword high, going for a full fledged attack. His composure was not there, his weight shifted maddly, and he was charging in fear with nothing but the will to slay and hopefully live, but when fighting an experianced soldier such as Saber, this was known as a death wish, a fast train to hell. Saber, being a knight, obliged this wish and used her knelt postion to her advantage pushing her leg down on the floor, using her heavey wieght as a sort of catapult, and hurled herself toward her oppenent. Her sword met the fool hearty knight, but it was not a block, far from it, it was clearly said as a slaughter. She cleaved his sword causing it to fly up and pierce a tree and her sword dug it's way through the knight, slicing him into 2 clean halves, each 3 yards away from each other, for the force of the cut sent the halves fling in two seperate directions. She straightened up her stance and faced her oppenent with a blank stair, her sword glowing gold toward her oppenents, she was ready for more blood to rain upon the floor. The knight, at seeing their fallen comrades, and out of sheer fear, ran to their horses, sadled on them roughly, and at last took off the other way in full retreat, spreing dirt and dust into the air. Saber did not turn her back for a moment and was comfirming their dissapearance and then, after the comfermation of them not coming back, she turned to Resi. "Master... is thout unharmed?" her voice echoed, lighting up into worry, her pale green eyes piercing Resi's eyes, yet these eyes showed pure devotion, and worry for her master, not any signs of a threat toward Resi.
