I thought about it for a while then told Penelope "All right! I'll take your case. I will find this dream thief!"
Penelope giggled "Thank you! Thank you!"
Then my friend Chole ran in screaming "Don't ask Mizuki! You should have come to me! I will find that 'Dream Thief' first! You can count on it!"
And as quickly as she came she left.
I told Penelope "I'll find the 'Dream Thief,' you can count on me,... Chole... not so much."
Penelope sighed "Thank you Mizuki, I know you can do it!"
Cromwell showed her out, and left me to ponder things for a moment.
I thought "In her dream she said she was in the park... maybe I should look there first."
I left my office and walked to the park, all the while looking for any clues. When I got to the park I saw Chole sleeping on the bench. I walked over to her and poked her.
She woke up and jumped down "What!?"
I looked at her "Why were you sleeping? Aren't you supposed to find the 'Dream Thief?'"
She answered "Yes, I am. If the 'Dream Thief' steals dreams, then you need to be alseep to catch them, right!? I thought, with you being such a smart detective, that you would have figured it out by now. Well, I'm going back to my investigation! Don't wake me up again! I was so close!"
And Chole went back to sleep on the bench. And I thought about what she said, having to catch the dream thief in our dreams.
I ran to Penelope's house and I told her "Can I sleep over?"
She laughed "Okay! But aren't you supposed to catch the 'Dream Thief?'"
"Yes," I said, "but since the 'Dream Thief' steals your dreams I'm going to sleep over and catch the 'Dream Thief' redhanded! Or dreamhanded!"
At that moment my butler, Cromwell entered the room.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
Cromwell said "Excuse the entrusion, but I made something that might interest you in your case," He pulled out a pillow, "it is a 'Dream Weaver', it allows you to have the same dream as Penelope."
I grabbed the pillow "It's so soft, thank you Cromwell, now be gone!"
He bowed, then left.
I told Penelope "It's going to be dark soon, we should get ready for bed."
Penelope yawned "Yeah. I'm getting sleepy."
