Let candle light flicker over a blank sheet of parchment Before your story is written upon it A story of a beautiful blonde Draped in a penoir of intense yellow As she stares at the crisp yellow autumn leaves From her sun bathed balcony in the morning Or a field of yellow daisies Being brushed over by a gentle breeze Filling the air with yellow bits of pollen Making many yellow bumble-bees very happy Or mabey you'll write a tale of a kitchen Where sour lemons meet their end Saying good-bye to the hot yellow sun that nurtered them through life Possibly a story of glowing yellow angels Singing with happieness in their voices As they play golden harps to flow with the magical melody At the golden gates to heaven It could be about the soft yellow moonlight Sparkling on a clear lake surface But try to touch the glowing yellow image And the slippery surface will slip away from its golden image Into a sea of nothingness Or a story about a yellow, blazing fire Cracking and burning in the night So that a yellow flame may send out smells of smoke and ash And send out feelings of warmth and comfort To a small family who watches the flames But whatever you write about Just take a moment to think Let candle light flicker over a blank sheet of parchment And let creativity flow through your mind
