The original Naruto showed up at the same time as the 5 replica ninjas. They were all about to close in and perform the Naruto Rendan, when Konohamaru clasped his hands together and shouted, “Oiroke no Jutsu!” Instantly, he was shrouded in a plume of dust and smoke. When the cloud dissipated, there was a very…………..beautiful scantily-clad brunette girl in his place. All the Naruto clones felt their faces turn scarlet. Then, all of the Shadow Clones went POOF, leaving the original, who laughed and said, “Nice counter, kid! I see you’ve been practicing that, too! Nice work!” The girl went POOF, and Konohamaru reappeared, in all his hyperactive, towel-wrapped glory. “Thanks, Boss! You put up a good fight, too!” “Thanks, Konohamaru!” said the yellow-headed ninja.

Meanwhile, back at the Hokage’s mansion, the other members of Naruto’s squad were stifling a group yawn. They completely failed this. A huge “RRRRRRRROOAAAAWWWWWWW!” erupted from the three of them. “We’ve got to be quieter when we yawn!” gasped Sakura, her bright pink hair shimmering in the early morning light. Once the three ninjas had their breathing back under control, they turned back to watching the Hokage, who appeared to still be fast asleep.
