As the flames finally exstinguished and demetrius was no where to be found, Alexandria walked from her hiding place in the woods. Her family was gone, and she was all that was left of her line. She fell to her knees before the ashes that were the remains of her home, tears falling from her cheeks to land softly on the ground. Thirteen years of memories filled with love and laughter, gone in a matter of minutes. She kissed her fingertips and pressed them to the ground. "I swear I will avenge your deaths. Mommah, Sis, Daddy, Jeb, I will miss you all." She brushed a loose strand of red hair from her eyes as she forced herself to her feet. 'I have to be strong, I am alone now.....' Her thoughts sounded scared, but she pushed it aside. She held her head up high as she walked back into the forests of her childhood. Following the paths that she had walked since birth, she found her way to the foot of the mountains. Voices and music played above and around her. A smile played softly over her lips as a man with white wings landed in front of her. He didnt look dangerous, his piercing green eyes flecked with gold, smiled at her. His brown hair rested on his shoulder as he opened his arms to her. Alex immediately understood his intentions and rushed forward, sobbing against his bare chest. The angel-like man simply held her, running a hand down her hair. They stood there for what seemed like hours before Alexandria stopped crying and looked up at the face of her companion. "StarSoar....." The man placed a finger to her lips, silencing her. "Hush, young Alexandria. I, and the rest of my clan, have already seen what has happened. we grieve as you for the loss of such wonderful people." His green eyes glimmered, the gold specks lightening within them. Alex marveled at his looks, his dark brown hair whipping about his face as the wind played with it. StarSoar kissed her brow and lifted her into his strong arms. Spreading his wings he shot into the air, heading to the top of the mountain and the place that he called home.
