Grace-Marie invited me downtown to a coffee shop to listen to Christian rock. I went along with Kito, Crosby, and Connor. I was happy to get out of the house! We got there it was half full already. At first I enjoyed it to the MAX but then it got hot plus the music got too loud. Kito and I snuck outside to get some fresh air and to rest our poor ears. I saw a rent space so I put the number in my phone. As I typed in the last digits I saw Grace-Marie coming up the stairs. She told us to stay inside. We reluctantly went back into the muggy and loud environment. I saw this guy around our age who was wearing the coolest green shirt and a peace sign. I walked up to him and complimented his shirt. I then did something that would make that night memorable for him and myself.... I hugged him saying he earned a hug for being such a nice dresser. That would make a good story for him to tell the next morning. Same for me. ^_~ Later on I criticized the band's CD cover design. It was all black with silver letters. How unoriginal! I design covers for a hobby so I didn't mind telling them what I thought. To them I seemed like a snobby know-it-all........
The headache and the heat were getting to me. Minutes later we left back home. They dropped me off as they waved goodbye. I went to the front door. I knocked....no answer. Why would my dad lock the door when he SAW me leave with them earlier? I went to check the back door in case he left it open for me. I checked and it was sealed tight. I talked to Kito as I paced in the yard and up to the corner of my road. I tried again and this time my brother opened up the door. I thanked him as I came inside. I tried to sleep but my lower back was killing me so that is why I have this entry. ^_^
