When ever silent tears cascade again
And disappointment looms above my head
I wonder if there is escape from pain
Or will my heart forever end up dead
Desperation I've come to know too well
And sorrow found a place deep down inside
Again I find myself in living hell
A place which too often must abide
I wonder if ever I'll gain respite
For grief and pain I already have borne
As I try to live through my darkest night
I suffer alone and cry for the morn
Someone please take my outstreached needy hand
Before my hopes dissipate like sand
