It was 6:00 am. I was dead asleep in my warm bed. i woke up from crackling and popping. My eyes snapped open and I saw my candle from across the room. The flame was 2 inches high! i don't know how it happened I just knew I had to put it out. I tried spitting it out....nope! I tried to set it on the floor so nothing on my desk would catch fire. This was stupid....it was in a tin holder. Oh yeah! i burnt my finger tips. (Yet I am typing) Now I am angry at that fire so I got a bottle of water off my desk and threw it on. I went back to my warm bed after putting cool water on my burnt hands. I laid down then thought," What if I hadn't woken up? Would that be the end for me? Would anyone come to my doomed rescue?" I started shaking from the thought of a near death. But alas I am alive and well so I do not dwell.
