"I don't know." she said, "Maybe we shouldn't walk that way..."
"Why not, It can't hurt can it?" His earing shone in the early morning light, reflecting the bright orange of the sky.
"Well,..."she thought,"maybe..."
He sighed, and reached into his pocket. He pulled out two objects and handed them over. She took them gently, her fishnet gloves catching on the smaller item. She looked down at them and sighed.
"What is this for?" she asked with a slight smile. Her eyes turned up to his and he kept her gaze for a second without answering. She laughed quietly to herself. "So? answer me Xavior, I know you have a voice in there somewhere."
"Okay, Okay, the first item," he smirked, "is a Linkin Park cd, and the other is my spiked wristband." He turned to her with a look of victory. The look didn't last long before she busted out laughing. He looked hurt and amused at the same time. " What? what'd I do this time?" he asked.
She gave him a look of annoyance and continued. She reached up and yanked as hard as she could on his hair and he gave a soft yell. Just as she was fixing to give up and hug him, her cell phone rang out the chorus of My World by Sick Puppies.
"Now that's interesting..."he taunted. "You are into them now huh?
"Shut up," she quipped. "Your the one who put it on my phone. Maybe I should bluetooth you some Anberlin, it's not too different."
She opened the phone and a voice cracked through the speakers. He watched her talk and wondered who could be on the other end. Her face warned him that whoever it was she didnt appreciate the call and she quickly hung up and walked away. He stood there and wondered where she would could be going at a time like this.
