I see my life before your palm, Bring the peace of of all things calm. Blistered backs, and tainted hearts. My eyes swollen shut, so the tears can just stop. The death count is up, just for this month. Two friends, a sister, a grandmother, and so many more. Let me sleep this nightmares away. My heart is a bottomless pit of decay, and I shun it. Forgiven the lord? Give me a reason! Blood splashed across my paper heart, that is easily torn. My shell is iron, bound to keep my secrets safe. I feel so alone. Honestly, there is no way to consul. Break me open, and push me down. I am bound, by the hurt that I've found. Tormented lightly, as they disappear. Never forgotten, Please return... Two friends, a sister, a grandmother, and more... Taken this month from my loving arms. They wont return, but in my dreams. I''m feeling selfish for wanting to sleep. My heart has been torn, but still I don't wake... Their faces would wither from my memory. Something I couldn't bare to take.
