Bleh~
It was a hot summer night and the beach was burning, there was fog crawling along the sand. The Sea was all alone in the world that night, like every night, she had tried to find someone to confide in. For the first time in an eternity, the she spoke out to someone, anyone, who would listen.

“Can anyone hear me? Please give me a sign, or even whisper that you can.” She asked, her sweet melodious voice just resonating through the heavens like a stone dropping into a well, causing small and delicate yet beautiful ripples. No answer came, though a small breeze blew across her, causing her to notice something unusual.

“I can,” replied a small and timid voice. “I’ve been listening for some time, yet never truly responded.”

The voice had belonged to someone whom the Sea had never truly met. She had always thought that someone was there to watch out for her, yet she did not quite understand who, or what. She asked again,

“Who are you? How did you hear my voice?” asked the Sea with a note of surprise and curiosity “Who are you?” She asked, this time with a bit more confidence.

A brief and very small chuckle was heard above, and the Sea turned her gaze upward. She had seen him, and known him all her life. He was the Sky, a person of extreme variety and nuance. Yet somehow, when gazing into his eyes, she could see devotion and loyalty reflecting off those orbs. He was delicate, and looked as if a small wind could blow him away in a moment’s flash.

“I’ve always been here, just never truly spoke up. I’ve tried to support you through subtle gestures, though I never expected that would be enough.” The Sky replied, and holding her hand tightly in his grip, looked at her, and saw not the Sea, but his own heart beating beneath him. He obviously knew that he had her. The Sea in turn, saw into him a person she had always dreamed, someone who would be there for her should she ever need him, yet one who would not stand out and treat her like a helpless babe about to be ravaged by wolves.

Time and space move, yet they must move at a pace. When love is so strong that it can bend time itself, it can do some very magical things. After a few moments of holding each other, the Sky bent downward for a single kiss, one small peck on the cheek. Yet that didn’t precisely happen, as the Sea gave him one on the lips. For a flash, an eternity held in a moment, and the entire world just blowing away in the breeze, they both had a feeling, which was rarer than one in all time’s chance. They were always together from that moment on, never to really split apart. They haven’t communicated in ages, although they still remember that one fateful night. An eternity has passed, and if one may note, they are still bound together. Truly, one must admit; that the night and kiss, were truly, one in a million million.

Time will always be moving on, and we
Should note the tale of the Sky and Sea
Eternities have passed, and time itself bent
Eternities passed, together they spent.
