us,
all of us,
we build great structures to deny ourselves the truth,
burying our secret we all know yet none admit,
man, human, we are the destroyers of our realm,
when we build we destroy what was here before,
wood, steel, land, all of these, products of our rampage,
we seek to conquer our domain then conquer that of others,
men of reason we call ourselves but nay,
nay, we are but conquerors who seek ideals of justice and retribution falsely,
for to achieve such fragile things as peace and harmony we must have shattered our souls,
no creature on earth knows peace,
even the most tiny of micro bacteria will kill, and eat, another for their own survival,
nature is a savage beast to become peaceful is to become unnatural,
unless we all submit to a hive mind, give up what we may call ours, loose what we call "me" then there will always be strife against one another, and against the world as we know it.
