The video game movies must stop. They take the best selling video games, most of which are very good, and milk some several million out of them by making a crappy movie for it. There are some prime examples out there already: Resident evil, Silent Hill, Doom. They took games with very good storylines (or that were at the very least entertaining) and made a movie that completely contradicted the story. Resident Evil: in a mansion, not a lab; main character was jill, not this new person; and they never showed the tyrant in the movie. Silent Hill: the movie just plain sucked and had and ending that left everyone I know saying "What the f***?
". Doom: doorway to hell, not genetic mutation; BFG has always been green, not blue; and why was the Rock in there at all? Seriously? For a while I thought that a Legend of Zelda movie would be a good idea, but given there way of interpreting the story of games, I would rather watch the genre die in glory of one of the greatest titles ever than watch it be anally raped by some movie producers who want a couple more ivory backscratchers.
