The world of Firewall.

In cybespace, everything usually runs smoothly,but when things go wrong, the cyberpolice of Firewall are called upon to smooth out any of the issues that arise. Made up of two teams, the Codes and the Counterparts. The Codes dispose of physical threats such as hackers, cyber criminals and malovolent malware. Counterparts work out kinks in the coding system that leads to bank errors, missing links or 404 pages.

The current Code team is made up of four human members, and four antivirus live intellegence action systems (Alias) which are computer programs that fight by commands of their human Codes. Counterpart is made up of a dozen computer geniuses lead by Conondrum, an Alias programmed to glitch enemy computers.

When a hacker named Rayley Alamo unlocks a long dormant malware called Mal Suerte, he is forced into becoming a member of Firewall Code, with his snarky Alias at his side.

Nikodeamus Burton: the former leader of Counterpart. His experiments with regrafting virus software mutuated his cyberspace persona into that of Fraction. Nikodeamus's body is kept alive in the real world by his influential family.
