Hey,

You can call me french_fries.
I'm 19 years old, from Australia. I'm studying optometry at university. I'm a Jesus freak and involved as a leading in my local church and youth group. I love music, I play flute, saxophone, drums, piano, and a bunch of other instruments. I like my video games, especially Dota 2, Counterstrike, Lufia II Rise of the Sinistrals, and Guitar Hero.
I used to play a lot of online games such as gaia online when I was younger. Especially in early high school, when I was bullied. These sort of sites acted as an escape from the reality that was slowing taking me over. Then I turned to God. He helped me in so many ways. He helped me find new (and the best) friends, he filled that empty hole in my heart, and he taught me how to love again. If it wasn't for God, I know I'd be in a pretty bad place about now, I was heading down hill fast. But now I volunteer at my church, youth groups and our city band. I've gained a maturity and independence, I make friends easier than I ever was able to. I have the best friends in the world, including younger friends who look up to me as a role model. Just because you had a painful past doesn't mean you can't turn it around. God is good and life is good.
