Welcome to my profile, I hope you weren't looking for anything too interesting, you'll be disappointed. I'm Darien, and I'm pretty boring both online and off. I was first introduced to Gaia when a couple of friends were talking about the Halloween event that was going on at the time while we were having our usual weekend bookstore meetup. I decided to check the site out and became instantly hooked. Early on, I remember being amazed by the world map and clicking around to "visit" different places and the excitement of thinking what some buildings could be one day. I remember questing and saving up for these bad boys and will never forget the accomplished feeling when I finally earned enough Gold to buy them. I also remember pissing off a helper by posting some cringe posts in AMC, sorry Morbie! From that point, I lived in the Q&F forum (shortly after split to Q&A and SF, I stayed in Q&A) for pretty much the rest of my time on Gaia until I became a Site Moderator in 2012, then Global Moderator in 2014. Stuck with it for a few years until real life got too hectic. Took a break but I'm back giving it another go!
I'm a Moderator for Gaia Online meaning I spend a lot my time on Gaia cleaning up all sorts of violations across the site from forums, guilds/clans, flash spaces and everywhere in between to help keep your experience on the site as awesome as possible. If you have any questions that are modding related, it would be best to PM me to discuss it privately rather than leaving comments on my profile as they'll likely go unanswered there.
If you have questions about features on Gaia or the site in general, you may want to consider asking in the Site Questions & Assistance forum where there are plenty of knowledgeable users that love to help out when they're around.
