There is a group who wants to stop the practice of flaming in the arena and they want people to stop saying mean things. They feel it is wrong to hurt someone feelings. They say that the avis are not real but the peopl ebehind them are. This idea is great! I became curious to see how much would it take to make them go to the level of the mean people they are against. I decided to start an experiment. I made a few flaming comments on the arena, I made negative comments on a few profiles and I started a topic in the forum. This group attacked me within a few hours. Most of the members wanted to get their point across and did it in a nice way. They posted comments on my profile and on the topic I set up in the forum. A few became really nasty and started to say cruel/means things and some even flamed me. I was also curious to see what would happen if I told them I was only 14. This is when the comments became really nasty. I was told that I should cut myself, I was a dumba**, I was a loser and I was a troll. These comments come from people who are against being mean, but they were more than happy to trash me. Even more happier when they were told I was only 14. The group is comprised mostly of older people (adults). I do not know the age of the people who wrote the nasty comments, but I can assume they are older than me. I was also told by one person that it was an eye for an eye. Well, the experiment is done. I proved my point that even the people who fight against being mean are just as bad. They all banded together and attacked me. Look at the visitors list. They keep looking at my profile. I think it is really sad that a few of them really became nasty and cruel to a 14 y/o. I am done. I will no longer comments about this. I deleted the topic from the forum and hopefully they will stop emailing me.
