About

Hi I'm DanTheMan51. I started Gaia because of my friend Ember_Spirit. I find it ok. I always find it hard to discribe myself. Well I love sports. I'll play any sport no matter what. My favorites to do are wrestling, football, running, and swimming. My lest favorite are Basketball and baseball. I'm not the best at sports, who am I kidding, I have no athletic talent, but I have conviction, and deturmanation. i don't no how to quit or not work hard so after many year of sweating, bleeding, crying, and getting my butt kick ever day I became good enough to take 4th at state in wrestling. I also enjoy school, math and science are my favorites. I love to read, but until recently hated wright and drawing but now, even though i suck at both, I enjoy doing them. I love X-Box and Halo 3 and enjoy playing most computer games. I will say that I am proud but very humble at the same time. this is the last I'll say about myself, the list of importance in my life..... 1st, God and Religion, 2nd Family, 3rd friends, 4th school, 5th books, 6th sports, 7th computers.

Every Man dies, not every man truly lives!!! -Brave Heart

"---No God--- ---No Peace--- --Know God----Know Peace-"

"Many that live deserve death. And some die that deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then be not too eager to deal out death in the name of justice, fearing for your own safety. Even the wise cannot see all ends." -J.R.R. Tolkien

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned -Congreve (1670-1729)

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. -John 15:13

“To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world.” -Brandi Snyder

"That's what they should teach us here, how girls' brains work." ---Ron --J. K. Rowling

Gimli: Never thought I'd die fighting side by side with an elf. Legolas: What about side by side with a friend? Gimli: Aye, I could do that.

Failure is not falling down but refusing to get up.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.

Don’t let your victories go to your head, or your failures go to your heart.

If there exists no possibility of failure, then victory is meaningless.

Success builds character, failure reveals it.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I’m not sure about the former.

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." --2 Timothy 4:7

Life’s real failure is when you do not realize how close you were to success when you gave up.

Is Hell Exothermic or Endothermic? As you study for exams, remember its not the quantity it's the quantity. And remember there is no substitute for pure unadulterated bull -------------------- Dr. Schambaugh, of the University of Oklahoma School of Chemical Engineering, Final Exam question for May of 1997. Dr. Schambaugh is known for asking questions such as, "why do airplanes fly?" on his final exams. His one and only final exam question in May 1997 for his Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer II class was: "Is hell exothermic or endothermic? Support your answer with proof." Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following: "First, We postulate that if souls exist, then they must have some mass. If they do, then a mole of souls can also have a mass. So, at what rate are souls moving into hell and at what rate are souls leaving? I think we can safely assume that once a soul gets to hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for souls entering hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Some of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, then you will go to hell. Since there are more than one of these religions and people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all people and souls go to hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change in volume in hell. Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in hell to stay the same, the ratio of the mass of souls and volume needs to stay constant. Two options exist: *If hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter hell, then the temperature and pressure in hell will increase until all hell breaks loose. *If hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until hell freezes over. So which is it? If we accept the quote given to me by Theresa Manyan during Freshman year, "that it will be a cold night in hell before I sleep with you" and take into account the fact that I still have NOT succeeded in having sexual relations with her, then Option 2 cannot be true...Thus, hell is exothermic." The student, Tim Graham, got the only A. http://www.pinetree.net/humor/thermodynamics.html
