Ok, I've read through the pages and I'd just like to say that while it's fine to provide constructive criticism most times, you may want to think carefully on the wording as well as timing. While I realize it was not your intention to offend, imagine if you were at school having a conversation with a friend and doing an imitation of someone famous that you thought was pretty good and some random stranger walked up and said something about how it sounds nothing like it should. Your initial reaction will probably be defensive. It's just human nature. Don't forget, text has no emotion, and it's difficult to know what people are feeling when they type something.
Had you possibly worded your comment differently, it may have been taken more as constructive criticism and less as a personal attack on their RP and member. Possibly by saying something to the effect of, "Wow, I really wish I could think of a character to make so I can join your awesome RP. All the characters seem really interesting and you guys are my favorite RP so far. I was wondering, though, what the story behind the baby talk when Charlotte gets drunk? I've never seen something like that before..." and just leave the, "other characters have been more annoying" part out completely.
As for being reported....I can't say whether they would or not. They may have forgotten your comments, they may not have.
Keep in mind that I have not been a mod for quite awhile, so I can't really say what may or may not come of you being reported. The best advice I can give you is to contact a current moderator with the situation if you still have questions since I've answered all I feel comfortable with. I do hope I've helped, though. ^_^

Hey there. Sorry for yet another delayed response...I'm having trouble with my laptop accepting a charge. -_-
Anyway, there were lots of reasons contributing to my wanting to be a mod but mainly I wanted a way to feel more involved in a site I enjoy so much.
As for the Shallow Sea, I admit, I have not actually been past the old aqueduct yet as far as the zOMG storyline goes (though I've heard that SS is nearly impossible to solo). With the loss of my desktop as well as the birth of my son, I simply did not have the time to be on Gaia. I was so hoping to get through the storyline in time for DMS, but it's looking like that's not going to happen due to my laptop issues. I'm planning on using any extra Christmas money to purchase a new desktop, so hopefully that'll at least work out in my favor. ^_^ Good luck getting an amulet though!!

Anyway, if you're looking to apply to be a mod, follow this link. Make sure to read over the entire first 2 posts before posting any questions. If you have any questions after you've read through everything, I can try to help you or you can post in the thread and someone else can give you some answers.
As for whether it's a paid position or not, the answer to that is no. It's a volunteer position, but it's a rewarding experience knowing you're giving back to the site. I can't really go into too much detail as to how the staff know whether you're doing your job or not. Suffice it to say it's similar to other jobs in life. You have your bosses and it's their job to make sure you are properly trained and handling yourself professionally.
Dead man's Shadow looks and sounds exciting. I can't wait until we finally get to play it! It's a shame that you won't be able to purchase an amulet though. Perhaps someone may gift one to you? I know there were a lot of people giving them away to friends for free... Hopefully there is a mass gifting frenzy when DMS is released finally. If not, I'll let you know all about it once it's finally released!

No worries. Reading peoples' comments is a habit I have from being a mod. I don't even realize I do it half the time. ;p
And yeah, I am curious to know if that works. Also I already have the zOMG DMS amulet. So I see no reason why I won't be there on opening day!
