Go to Region and Language in your control panel and on the fourth tab that says Administrative, there will be an option that says change system locale.
Not a problem ^_^ If you plan to play a visual novel on the PC, just set your system locale to Japanese and you should be fine with the rest of the steps. If you ever want to know about a visual novel, just ask.
They're pretty nice. Artwork is usually good in every one that you see. You just gotta find the right ones and what genre you like. For me, I like N+C's BL visual novels. The artwork is great for each one, I love the stories, and the characters are developed nicely.
There's otome visual novels too. When you play the female main character and you have to earn the love from each guy around you.

About
Hey guys. Not sure what to say, but I'll give a rundown of what I assumed you'd want to know. sweatdrop
My name is Ansley and I'm from Arkansas. It's not very exciting, but it's home and home is where the heart is, right? I'm pretty patriotic and love the USA, but I'm also really interested in other cultures and am pretty open minded about that kind of stuff.
I'm interested in languages, so pm me if you wanna talk about that kinda stuff. This fall I'll be attending college to pursue a major in linguistics and a minor in Spanish and (hopefully) Russian.
I absolutely love Hetalia and don't mind rp-ing. Lame, I know. Haha. But sometimes you just gotta get in touch with your inner loser. wink
